    Default MFC question! New model

    i would like to ask all of you that tried MFC to tell: What was your camscore like after your first 8 hours of camming (NEW MODEL TAG) and how much did you make during that time. It will be interesting to see different models answer that question and see how it impacts the camscore.

    Is there anyone who had great 8hours and ended up having like 2-3K camscore or it isnt possible? I know there are lot of scam studios tipping their models and its not fair seriously, but i wanna know if someone actually worked hard and it went well for them. How much on avergae models make with 2-3K camscore? anyone knows ??

    thanks

    Camscores are just sooo entirely crazy!! There is no way of telling how much a person w/ 2-3 k camscore makes. Bc honestly it is totally different w/ each and every model. Now when I first started, my score just kept goin up and up. I really can't remember what it was after the first 8 hrs tho. But i really never went down til i wasn't gettin on. When girls tell u "oh don't worry about ur score if you don't get on..it won't go down" bc it's bullshit!! i think my highest was 8900. Then I didn't get on but maybe 2 to 3 times a month. It went down and down and down lol Got all the way down to 3200 and im FINALLY back up to a lil over 5600. Ill get it back hopefully!! lol

    i cant remember my first time camscore because it was so long ago, but i guess on my first shift it was something like 1700 after 2 hours online. My camscore stayed around 2000 for a long time, then end of last year it was 4500 because I got spoilt by a regular. Now its back down to 2000, and it didn't slowly go down or anything.. it just like crashed from 4500 to 2000 in 1 day and then remained 2000ish for the last 6 months. It hardly moves. The most it moves by is like 30 points, either up or down. I spend 2 to 4 hours online and make 3000 tokens before logging off. Personally I think 3000 tokens is enough to make my camscore go up.. but yet it never does. I even got an offline tip of 2500 in 1 day when I was away. And the camscore went down by about 10 points. I personally think it's fixed.

    Hi,

    While no one can really say for sure how much camscore dictates money, I do have a theory. I've been on MFC almost three years and have had a range of camscores. I think if you look at someone's camscore and drop the last zero, that a ROUGH estimate of how much they make during a regular shift. Keeping in mind one day you'll make less than usual, but the next day more, etc. Examples:
    500=$50
    1000 = $100/shift
    5000=$500/shift
    10,000=$1000/shift
    15,000=$1500/shift
    20,000=$2000/shift
    Let me know if you girls this is somewhat accurate. Of course a girl who is at a camscore of 2000 gets tipped 100,000 her score shoots to 10,000 is no longer be accurate, but I'm talking about your most average days with no out-of-the-ordinary tipping.

    As for finding out how much money you made on your first day, go to your personal MFC profile, click on 'Token Sessions' on the left hand side, then at the top you can select to see all your token counts since you started. Simply find the date of your first day on MFC, and add it up. My amount was ~4000 tks. That's about how much I make in 2- 3 hours now, but I try to work 4-5 hours.

    In my experience taking breaks absolutely destroyed my camscore. One of my biggest regrets from camming was taking a three week Christmas break off last year. Ah well, lesson learned.

    yea i agree. camscore is like a grade you get in a school...kinda of !!!! the site gives you a grade of how you do on MFC in general comparing to other girls also "other factors". No one will ever know how the system really works.

    Every employee has a rights to know what he is expected in order to get a raise "meaning raise the camscore".
    And it looks like it is a mystery and they wanna keep it that way "FOR A REASON" !!! otherwise they would tell us exactly what we gotta do !!!!
    SO.... the site doesn't reward models who actually work hard and work long hours even tho they still make good money, cause it hurts their camscore. I think as long as you make decent money on MFC with a decent camscore its all good.

    On the other hand, great camscore dont guarantee more money that explains TOP20 girls with different camscores. Of course it gives you great first row placement but in the end its all about the members to spend money on you. SO i believe that they choose somehow girls that once they show up in the first row they will generate the most money for the site. Imagine for one day if they would put most girls with camscore 1-2K in a first row!!!! MFC wouldnt be the same. As we all know many members JUST visit top row girls!!! Lets say its 80% on all members !!! and all of these guys have a monthly spending budget. SO the top girls squeeze all that money from those guys trying to compete in top20 and thats why camgirls with lower camscore have a hard time competing many time because of luck of those spending members. They site is just created this way to generate the most money for them !!! If you would wanna open a company of course you will let your best potential models be o a top to generate you more money.

    TOP girls rooms, give a guys illusion of competition, something better, participating in something big tip wars, top20!!! it squeezes they most money, cause when it rains it pours when guys see everyone else participating they will follow. But if they go to a girl with 2500 camscore MAYBE they will spend money, but in top girls room they more likely willing to spend ...

    ok the end i just put my thoughts about this.. hope someone know what i am trying to say.

    Can you clarify what constitutes a 'shift'? That's a little bit vague.

    It's suspected that camscore is tokens per an hour and how much you are making in that hour compared to other girls on. Also it is based on the last 60 days so if you have one awesome day and then average days for 2 months it would make sense your score would plummet.

    This is a really long post from another forum written by a guy with a mathematical background who is a long time member of MFC that studied the camscore system. The last paragraph pretty much supports Buddysmoms theory. A model with a 1000 score will on average take in 2000 tokens a shift.

    " Start at MFC Wiki: Camscore which specifies several useful parameters:

    1. New models begin with a camscore of 1000 which initially has no relationship to their earnings.

    2. 1000 is the average camscore of all of the models on the site which means the camscores (earnings) of other models affects the camscore.

    3. The main factor that determines camscore is the number of tokens earned by the model.

    4. Camscore is calculated every 4 to 6 hours when a model is signed on. My observation indicates the model's webcam must be turned on or in away mode because merely logging on does not appear to trigger a recalculation.

    5. Camscore is a rolling average meaning things that added to the camscore in the past are subtracted while things done in the present are added. The subtraction interval might be the last 60 days that the model worked.

    6. Camscore takes time to update. My observation indicates that it can require 1 to 2 days to finish updating. It updates in the menu faster than on the profile page.

    7. All earned tokens increase the camscore indicating the theory that a tip of less then 10 tokens decreases the camscore is false.

    8. "There is nothing that a member can do to lower your CamScore."

    Contrary to what is written on the wiki, camscore is important because it is used for default sorting of models' avatars. The model with the highest camscore is first increasing her exposure and the one with the lowest is last decreasing her exposure. Members also learn that there is usually something wrong with a model with a low camscore and tend to avoid them.

    Apparently the rating from 1 to 10 after a private show increases the camscore.

    Apparently the 10 points that now automatically accompanies any tip of 90 tokens or more increases the camscore.

    The camscore does not change on days that the model does not work.

    Models who have not worked for several months often observe their camscores to increase or decrease by large amounts a few days after they resume working. My theory is that the camscore is being recalculated to align with the new average of all of the models' camscores.

    Models have commented that tips they receive offline increase their camscore more than tokens received while online. My theory is that the tokens from offline tips are added to the number earned during the prior day that the model worked. Thus, in term of calculating the camscore, it is as if she earned more tokens on the last day she worked.

    The relationship between the camscore and the number of tokens a model earns varies probably because a camscore of 1000 represents the average camscore of all of the models.

    The camscore of a new model does not relate to her earnings. Within 7 to 14 days of working, her camscore can decrease to the low hundreds or increase by several thousand. A very large tip, such as 50,000 tokens, can elevate it by tens of thousands in a day.

    For MFC a new day occurs at midnight Pacific Standard Time or Pacific Daylight Time. Models who work through this time interval will have their earnings spread out over two days which decreases the average earnings per day.

    For a model who has been working for a while, I have observed the relationship between camscore and the average tokens earned per day to vary between 1.5 to 2 times. Currently the ratio is around 2 times, that is, a model with a camscore of 1000 earns about 2000 tokens each day she works. Remember that the camscore does not change on days the model does not work and that it is an average of the tokens earned per day. A model who works one day per month and earns 3000 tokens has the same camscore (about 1500) as a model who works every day of the month and earns 3000 tokens per day. The first model earns about $150 / month and the second, about $4,500 / month. "
