    Default Under Eye Concealers

Alright I'm in the market for a new under eye concealer, needs to be cruelty free.

For reference I'm between NC30-NC35, I'm currently wearing Nars Sheer Glow in Strombolli.

I don't have ultra dry skin, like the mojave or anything but I would describe my skin as normal to dry.

I have warm/yellow undertones as well.

    Any and all input appreciated!

i also like the boi-ing concealer, its definitely full coverage and lasts a long time.

my new fave is the nyx photogenic hd concealer in yellow. it covers like a MIRACLE and is super blendable. nyx is also completely cruelty free.

i use that along with their hd foundation and face powder and im obsessed. 100% full coverage, "matte but not flat"--just looks like you were born with perfect skin.

oooh, if you have warm yellow-y skin (like moi) you will LOVE Amazing Cosemetics' Amazing Concealer! That shit is pure magic. Dewy, hydrating (doesn't dry out and enhance crows feet), ultra full coverage but doesn't look heavy at all.

My sister had a hickey the other day and it covered it up completely.

thanks for the response ladies! Sorry for a lack on my part, took a little hiatus!

Glitzy-I will have to try out this concelear I've heard alot about it on youtube

I tried out benefit boing, and maybe it was the tester but I didn't like the finish

I got the sephora brightening concelear in (peach?), and MUFE full cover concelear.

Since I started using my Korres eye creme (bealieve it's the primrose one, i've noticed alot less darkness in the under eye area).

I have the worst dark circles ever, (hereditary). I use a combo of things, my eye area's dry. I used Laura Geller spackle, (older version in round compact), NYX shadow base, flesh tone, & a little Revlon pump foundation w/the red cap.
I am going to try some of the things mentioned..

I just read a really great review for the Maybelline 'Age rewind' one..many concealers are way too dry/cakey, even the so-called creamy, moisturizing ones

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat - specifically for under eyes. It's $40 but it is so incredibly worth it. It's not heavy duty for bags though, it's more light-reflecting, but for the right skin tone etc nothing short of miraculous. Go to their counter and try it...not sure if they have YSL in Sephora but you might even be able to get a little sample though not holding my breath on that.

Edit: Oops, didn't see that it needs to be cruelty-free. Sadly I don't think YSL are :-(

I use ELF brand, it's like 1 or 2 bucks so why not, it's a double-ended (giggidy) little thing, one end is concealer and one end is white hi-liter, I dot the concealer above and below my inner corners and the white side above and below my outer corners, blend it with a concealer brush or small flat eyeshadow brush, and set it with face powder using a bigger eyeshadow brush (need precision- my bigger face brush cant get into the corners and screws with my eyelash extensions)

Yes! I actually have a concealer too, although mine does not have a highligher. I also have their kind of gold colored "Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder" which is great too.

Laura Mercier Secret Concealer is amazing. It's $32 for a pot, but it's lasted several months. It's buildable, too. You can combine this concealer with a lighter color to give yourself a highlight effect.

    Yves Saint Laurent Eclat Touche!

It conceals AND brightens! It's my new favorite product. Makes me look like I don't work and sweat all night.

Benefit erase paste is the best I've tried. It's high coverage and light reflecting I prefer it over YSL touche eclat.

so i just felt like i should update...

usualy after i finish a bottle/package of concealer or foundation i get bored with it and look for something better..

it's been about 3/4 months and i'm not even halfway through this concealer and i'm still OBSESSED, don't know how i'd live without!!

and for $15... give it a try

    just sayin...

the foundation however, might be greasy for some. i have dry skin so it sinks right in. but a friend tried both and loved the concealer but hated the foundation cuz she has oily type skin.
