Love them. They don't rip out your hair. They're just a royal pain in the ass to install. It literally takes hours- maybe 3 to 5 hours for a full head. I can't imagine getting it done in less than two. And if you have to roll your own hair, forget it...
I have VERY bad luck with these extensions. I think they work great for some hair, but not others. I had gone from blonde to brown, and had damage on my hair, so they broke a lot of it (the beads aren't very flexible and can be heavy on the hair).
I switched to keratip extensions which have not seemed to damage my hair too badly and are a lot easier to install.
Good luck!

I had microbead extensions..i love and miss them..i now have clip ons but microbeaded ones are very low maitnence ..atleast they were for me..if you take care of them youl love them too..mine werent expensive either in total i paid 400 but so worth it..its just expensive the first time.. They dont fall out if installed corectly once youve had them in for awhile they become loose and start slipping off so thats when you have retouch them im sure youl like them..but after your first installation they will give you a headache so its recommended to just take a pill and a nap afterwards..mine didnt give me a headache but my friends did get one..just depends

i'm going to put a weft in with microbeads. its SO MUCH FASTER and will be convenient for me since i'm going to have to take mine out every 3 weeks to bleach my roots. here is a short vid showing what it looks like, you can do it at home with a friend pretty fast, i'd say under an hour for sure:
If you do anything do what Dancy suggested. I got the sew-ins that JD suggested and that we talked about. My hair is thick and looks really good. I am pretty sure that when I reinstall in two weeks my hair will have absolutely no damage. I think microbeads can rip out your hair. You definitely can feel them and if you hair is thin you can see them. I don't like them.

the weft i pictured isn't sewn or glued, its microbeaded on which is the least damaging (even less than clips). and its not individual strands, its one long piece like clip ins, but in all the time. it should be soft enough to not cause any damage.

i got nice hair from sally's (not their crappy brand, the satin strands) for $130 then i got microbeads off ebay for $1 shipped. I am putting these in either on Saturday or Monday (working doubles friday sat sunday UGH) and i'll post before and after pics on here if you want to see how mine come out![]()

I get Great Lengths - it's the same kind the celebrities use, like Paris Hilton & Lindsay Lohan. If you take care of the hair (it's real!) they stay looking amazing - no one knows mine are there, and that's amazing since I have really thin hair. It's similar to the microbeads, I'm not sure what the difference is really, but I can tell you I am pleased as punch. I get the full length and a full head of hear, it's about $3k but honestly the results are worth every penny if the installer is any good. I usually go in at 9am and come out at 2pm and sleep or work on my laptop while I'm in the chair. I would definitely not recommend putting them in yourself, go to a salon that works with Great Lengths and get a consultation (not sure if you're planning to install them yourself). They can color the hair to match yours and then once they are installed, go back in about a week later to get toner done on all the hair together to really even it all out.
Obviously this is written by Great Lengths so it's promoting their product, but I can back them up - when I had the extensions removed (after 4 months!! usually they only last 12 weeks, but I was able to keep them in over 16) my hair wasn't any thinner than before, and hardly any breakage and no dreading.

oh and for a good hair brush, this one is without a doubt the best to keep everything in tip top shape - http://www.christiesdirect.com/Model...e=UnitedStates - you can get it at Whole Foods!! much better than the brush that came with the Great Lengths lol
So if you want to be with me
With these things there’s no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I’d rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

hey teaze sorry i never responded, i never ended up putting mine in yet because my platinum extensions were a little too yellow for my hair and i went to tone them and they got DARKER for some reason ;/ so i just have to figure out where to go from here. sorry i couldn't upload any pics or tutorials yet... but i hope that the guy takes care of you!!!

yep.. went to sallys and got the toner they suggested... and my brand new extensions are now DARK GREY. -_____________________- and i won't come out. AWESOME
