It's a big time saver to have a form - of course also have a simple contact page in case they'd rather contact you without all the details first - but the form REALLY saves a lot of time. I didn't have one for a long time because the guys on the boards complained about them, but then I realized what a tiny part of the paying population they are - my new site has a totally decked out form and it is used more than strict email now, I'm so pleased with the time it has saved!

So if you want to be with me
With these things there’s no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I’d rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

I use a booking form on my site. My email or phone # isnt listed on the site unless the viewer is using the mobile version.

I took the email address off because the racist hatemail and constant requests to see people for free. Vetting my own calls and emails, the time wasters and harassers took too much time out of the day. Paring it down to a form became necessary after starting my new job.

However, its probably better to have it there just in case the form stops working. Some clients feel the forms aren't secure and prefer to email you directly. Some don't want to email at all and rather talk on the phone. It boils down to what you have time for.
It's not about what you do for a living, it's about who you want to be.

I've never had issues with hatemail, that sucks Tabitha. I do not list my email on my site, but I have a link to my reviews that shows my email, my email is also listed on my P411, and I have a plain contact form that goes straight to my email - just before my screening form I have a link that points them to the contact form if they aren't comfortable giving out all the information or if they have privacy concerns (they usually aren't legit, half the time they're just too stupid to realize they can fill out the form on their smartphone, hello duh)

Hahahaha I've gotten so much hate mail from other provider it's funny. More because of my posting style on the boards. I'm always thinking uhhh if you were making money you wouldn't be so wrapped up in my postings.

To the OP: Screening form and no email addy on site? It depends on what you're going for. I actually prefer to have banter with a client before he fills out my form. Hell some guys want to know details about a particular day and would rather email before filing out a screening form. It also depends on the volume of calls you want. Lots of things to consider.

that's precisely why I'm So Sugary Sweet to everyone! I'll bend over BACKWARDS to make them all love me, because otherwise they'd hate me just out of jealousy! lol - that's when you know you're doing something right!

I have a link to my screening form on my site, but then I also have a little blurb like "alternatively if you'd feel more comfortable contacting me through my secure email address, you can reach me at *email address*. I've found guys mostly use the email maybe 70% of the time, screening form 30%. With the screening form only, I think some guys were getting intimidated by all the info I'd ask for, whereas I found out that if they emailed me a few bits of info, I could usually find out the rest of my own without intimidating them. For example, they'd be hesitant to give their work info, yet when I googled their name and email address, it came up anyway without me having to ask for it.

Luckily I haven't had too many timewasters, and no hatemail (that's horrible that people would even do that!!) One tip I heard early on that I've stuck to and I think has worked well, is don't put your email address on your site as a text. other sites that "crawl" your website can pick it up and before you know it, you're getting spam mail out the wazoo. I have my email address as an image file, which makes it harder for spam places to pick it up.

Okay Miss McKenna I hate to bust you out like this but stop copying my site!!! Um... oh I guess you don't even know my site eh? Get out of my head then! That's even worse... Its scary in there heehee!

Seriously though... I say nearly the exact same thing and for the exact same reasons you noted and I also have my email addy as an image. So I have nothing to add cept "What she said!!"

Truly am sorry to hear you're getting hate mail Tabitha! I can't even imagine... I lurk all over the place and havn't seen you post anything that might get you on anyones bad side! Jeez...

If it was rally bad and annoying I would track the ip address of the emails and if I saw any patterns, would block that ip from being able to view my website. If they get no reply and can't obsess over your site they'll hopefully move on.
Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink!
