    Default P.O. Box Help

I went to get a P.O. box at usps for escorting privacy. They gave me the choices of Personal and Business PO box. I wanted to choose business. They asked for my name, address, company name, phone number, two forms of id and to use a credit card.

Is it safe to give this info to them? What do I write for company name or do I choose a personal P.O. box?

wait why are you getting one? I have an address to receive packages from, but in nine months of escorting I've never received a single gift. If it's for paying for escorting things online, use Vanilla Visa gift cards - you register just a zip code with it, so when you purchase things online you can put in any address in whatever zip code and stay anonymous that way. I use Vanilla Visa for everything - it's annoying because there's a $500 limit and each card costs $5, but compared to banking the cash, it's much better for taxes

If you do get one, get one for personal unless you're out as an entertainer for tax purposes

So if you want to be with me

you said you just register a zip code - so they do not require a social # like green dot type registration?

I had this problem with prepaid visa. They wanted me to give them my social #.

Some escort business things I'm doing online need me to give them an address. If I choose a personal P.O. box, is it safe to register for a p.o. box under my real name, address, and phone number?

I'm trying to open up a business for a personal assistant business for tax purposes too. I don't want to say that I'm an entertainer for taxes. This is why I can't decide between personal and business P.O. Box. Will registering a Business P.O. box make my real name and address public?

You're buying the wrong card! You want ANY gift card by Visa that lets you add up to $500 - it is not a prepaid card, it is a gift card. You cannot reload it, which is inconvenient, but you don't have to give your social security number. That's for prepaid cards that you can reload like Greendot. that's the way it works, if you can reload, they track it. if you can't reload, they don't, so it's a way to hide your cash.

You have to register your po box under your real info - unless you have id with you persona name!

Like I said before, you don't actually have to have an address with these cards, just need to register your zip code online to use the card for purchases, and as long as the zip code in the "billing" matches the zip code you registered the card to, it will go through. Just use some other address in that zip code that isn't yours. Simple.

Be aware, for advertising for escorting you have to show id, and they keep it on file, so you can't be completely anonymous unless you only advertise on boards.

So if you want to be with me

P.O. Box in other parlance is a "Dead Drop". A dead drop because a person is not there to receive items. A live drop would be someone to pickup packages.

You need an LLC. Once you have formed a corporation, the corporation (an LLC) opens the mail box. Pay cash. Do not open it, or renew is with a credit or debit card. The name, address, and telephone number assigned to the Mail box is the LLC, the LLC is a file folder in a Lawyers office. You have an answering service to screen calls for the LLC, and they can forward any calls, including renewal notices for the PO box.

A stalker would have to get through both screens, and each knows not to allow direct contact except as authorized.

Sell your car to your LLC, and operate that as a business vehicle, another screen.

Melonie can advise you more competently on the legal setups to make this operate, having used corporations herself for anonymity.
