Angry How signing up for DailyPay lost me my job on SM.

I'm perfectly frustrated right now. I've been extremely patient over the past few days, but my decision to sign up for DailyPay earlier this week has certainly ended up losing me money, maybe permanently. So I'm pissed, and therefore putting my situation out there as a warning to other camgirls. I've heard nothing but good things about DP, but now I feel like I'm being screwed over, possibly based on the mistakes of others. Streamate was my main source of income...this sucks

I signed up for DailyPay on Monday. I had SM close my account, and I created a new e-mail address and username for the DailyPay account. I built up my profile, added pictures, and resubmitted my Performer's Agreement and Age Verification forms. Then on Tuesday, I received the following e-mail from SM support:

Thank you for uploading your documents. Upon review of your submitted documents we found the following errors in these documents:

    Performer Agreement:
you are not able to just close the account and make a new one. The
account must be released and closed by the studio before we can approve
any new account for you. Please contact your studio account manager to
see if they will close and release your account with them. Thank you,

    Age Verification:
you are not able to just close the account and make a new one. The
account must be released and closed by the studio before we can approve
any new account for you. Please contact your studio account manager to
see if they will close and release your account with them. Thank you,

In order to complete approval we ask that you correct these errors and upload the documents
    again.

Admittedly, I have no idea what this means. I've never heard of anyone else in this forum having issues with closing their SM accounts for the purposes of signing up with DailyPay.

As soon as I got this e-mail, I came straight here and e-mailed Princess Jenny, who had previously been a great help to me when I had questions about DP earlier in the week. That was on Tuesday morning. I have yet to hear from her, even though I checked and PJ was online on Wednesday, Thursday, and even this morning. I just want to resolve this--I made no money this week, and I have a son to feed. I thought that DP would be easy and convenient, but now I'm afraid that somehow, things got screwed up on the other end, and I won't be able to have an account with SM at all.

What I need, more than anything else, are answers. How does this whole thing work between SM and DP? Shouldn't they be aware that I'm signing up for Daily Pay? Why am I being singled out, and how does this get resolved?

Princess Jenny, I still would be more than happy to hear from you.

Hmmmm was the ORIGINAL ACCOUNT you had with a studio or did you sign up for SM directly on the ORIGINAL? Whatever issue you have obviously seems to lead back to the original account. PJ will chime in I'm sure. Did you submit a trouble ticket to DP?

You really need to allow a couple weeks most times to get re-approved on Streamate and they always seem to mess up a couple times before they get it right. There's no way they would do it that fast.

For me everything went smoothly and even then it took more than a week for Streamate to re-approve it all.

Were you in a studio before?

If you were not then you need to make Streamate aware of that fact. If you were independent and signed up directly then there is no reason for them to place your account on hold that way.

^Yes, I agree. They're telling you that they believe you were in a studio before and you've closed your studio profile and signed up again to get out of a studio contract.

    1. If you were with a studio, that studio need to release you from your contract. Oftentimes, PJ can get you released in order to join DailyPay. But I have heard of instances where the studio just won't cooperate and it takes a while for SM to allow it.

    2. If you were not in a studio when you signed up with your first account, simply e-mail Streamate and tell them that. It should be easy for them to check.

I have no experience with DP, so I'm not defending them in any way, but it doesn't sound like it's a DP issue. It sounds like either SM support is being their usual inefficient selves or you're under contract with a studio.

My original account was NOT with a studio (I was Stripperweb taught lol)--I signed up for Streamate directly earlier this year. Why would they think that I signed up with a studio when I didn't? Isn't there a way for them to check that?

Okay, if it's the general consensus that all I need to do is e-mail SM support and let them know this, I certainly will. I'll post again when they reply.

OK, I just got an amazingly quick response from several members of SM Support, all at once. I was told that the e-mail about me being in a studio was sent to me in error, and that everything should be fixed now. I just resubmitted my documents for approval.

Thanks, SM support for promptly addressing my problem

And a big apology to Princess Jenny and DP--you were wrongfully accused

Just a heads up to any other girls...if you can't reach PJ on here, try using the e-mail listed on the daily pay site. I've used that e-mail 2 times, and got a quick response.
