    Default Escorts and hotel internet

How wary (or not) are you of using hotel internet for business things? In the beginning I was super paranoid and would look up NOTHING, and I generally use my phone or take my laptop to Starbucks. I've slipped up a few times and caught myself checking my TER Mail or whatever before I realized what I was doing, but I try not to because I'm so worried they'll snoop my webpages and find out I'm an escort. I'm about to tour again and it's SO frustrating on tour when guys message me and need to be screened quickly, and I have to go to a Starbucks for it etc, so I googled it this morning and found that hotels definitely can see what you're using their internet for, and some of them program their internet to flag certain keywords that suggest illegal activity. Have you guys ever had an issue with this? Do you avoid using their internet altogether?

I'm using hotel internet right now. I've never had any issues. Honestly, it depends on where I'm staying. If I get a good vibe from the staff, I use it. If I don't, I use my own internet. Sometimes the hotel internet is just more convenient. I just tried to use mobile USB tetering and the connection is so slow so I said fuck it and decided to use hotel internet. Also I dont' know if this helps at all but I've gotten in the habit of using a proxy when I surf. I don't know if it helps or not but I've heard it does. Hope this helps.

Never.... I only use the hotel internet to check my gmail and to watch Netflix. For everything else, I can access the internet on my phone and I have an unlimited data plan so I use that for any adult related sites.

I know how easy it is to check browsing history... And most places I use, even if the wifi is free you still have to log in with room number, so no way...

Timely post ... I've been testing the Tor browsing bundle but haven't tried it on hotel internet yet. It's a little slower than standard browsing but hey, it's free and it seems to work as long as you aren't doing anything graphics or video intensive -- it blocks add-ons, plug-ins, etc. for security. Good for simple stuff like blogging, email, forums.

I really doubt they care. I'm sure the rooms are full of guys watching porn, and browsing for companionship. The only thing I would be concerned about is your passwords and financial information. I would never log into my banking sites on an unsecured network. Hotels seem like the perfect place for hackers to scrape sensitive data.

I have a mobile hotspot so I can do literally anything, it's faster than the hotel internet, more reliable, and since I have an ac charger in my car, I can literally compute on the go. Mine is Verizon and I love it!

So if you want to be with me
With these things there’s no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I’d rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

I used to have a hotspot and loved it. Security aside, if you are working in a hotel more than 3-5 times a month it is a lot cheaper to use a hotspot. Hotel internet costs up to 16 dollars for 24 hours. Depending on your mobile carrier you may be able to tether your phone.
