Question Recommendations on where to start in Seattle.

Hi I'm new to the idea of stripping. I've been thinking about it for a few weeks and have been picking out outfits and learning how to strip them off piece by piece. I'm pretty confident in my body and ability. I'm actually more comfortable just dancing nude then I am actually taking the clothing off while dancing.

Anyways I'm curious on what club to start at in Seattle/area. I have checked out the reviews on quite a few sites but they're all from a customer perspective. So I was wondering if anyone from the area had an idea of the better clubs for newbies? I'm sure there are some that would eat new competition alive right from the beginning.

    Thanks!

I recently moved away from the area but here's a bit of info. A lot has changed in the last six months:

Pandoras: total whore house. Read dejavuinsider.blogspot.com . A dancer from there posted her recent experience and it isn't pretty.
Dancing Bare: Very ramshackle, only 2-4 girls, bad clientele.
    Sands: Never been there.
Lake City DV: The girls here are amazing hustlers. The GM there is a great guy. Lots of regulars though, can be tough to break into the fold.
Sinrock: Super slow when I went, but nicely decorated. Might be good for a newbie. I don't know anyone in management.
DreamGirls at Ricks: the GM there used to be a dancer, she's really cool. Hit or miss money wise but probably the best choice management wise.
Little Darlings: Was great 6 months ago but the current GM is a piece of shit and known for sexual harrasment. Good convention clientele but there's lot of drugs here now, unfortunately.
Airport DJV: Ghetto clientele but the management is good.
Downtown DJV: very busy tourist driven business, lots of great girls. The GM here also used to be a dancer so she's pretty cool. There is one male manager here who is very abusive though.
Dreamgirls SoDo: Pretty club, good business, rough girls. Notoriously the "problem child" club. They have new management which may help.

Keep in mind the slow season has begun. Season in Seattle is April to Oct.

This is helpful and slightly discouraging! I realize that it's the slow season but I've got to live with reality and that is that I really want to make this work.

Pandoras: Seemed like a good idea but definitely not now!
Sands: I'll have to just check it out.
Lake City DV: I've heard a lot of good from clients and friends who have gone.
SinRock: super far away but may be worth the money.
DreamGirls at Ricks: seems like everyone's favorite now that they closed and have new management.
Downtown DJV: I'm not about to shy away from my rights. If I can be nude on stage then I can handle an abusive asshole.
Dreamgirls SoDo: I'll keep my ear out about how they're doing and if new management gets it under control then may be an option too.

Thanks for the advice! It really helps narrow it down. I don't have very many dancing friends. The ones that have are retired and used to dance in different states. It would be great to talk to you more about your experiences. =]

Mark Anthony, the guy who owns Centerfolds, is a drugged out freak show. I've never been to Centerfolds but I've heard enough about him that I never wanted to go.

I haven't danced since Dec 2010, but my husband is a manager and I'm really close with about a dozen girls who currently dance in Seattle.

That's awesome! About you and your husband. Not so hot about Centerfolds. Biggest step right now is to get my license! And I hope being new the girls aren't going to be too harsh on me where I end up.

Depending on the location you audition at, if you do the amateur contest and/or you're cute enough, they will either pay for your license or give you a loan. I recommend calling Anna at Ricks or Tony at Lake City.

I went and applied at Rick's! I ended up talking to Anna and Anthony. I have to wait for the fax to come back. Tomorrow myself and a few friends are going to their "Hard Body Waitress Contest" which sounds like a blast. Honestly I've never had so much support in anything up until I decided to strip. My friends and other girls in the business (even if retired) have all helped so much!! Thanks mediocrity and Ms.Belle.
