I was just skimming the coverage of the presidential debate when I came across this gem: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...ama/?hpt=hp_t2
The gist: "KitchenAid", the kitchen appliance company, sent out a tweet last night, saying this: "Obamas gma even knew it was going 2 b bad! She died 3 days b4 he became president."
KitchenAid's explanation: Cynthia Soledad, KitchenAid's senior director of marketing, said in a statement to CNN: "During the debate tonight, a member of our Twitter team mistakenly posted an offensive tweet from the KitchenAid handle instead of a personal handle. The tasteless joke in no way represents our values at KitchenAid, and that person won't be tweeting for us anymore."
I have to say.... I kinda sympathize with the poor guy. :-)
I know I am not the only one who gets anxiety when sending e-mails. If it's a real-life e-mail, I panic that I've signed off as my cam name, or (god forbid) I've somehow included my cam link in my signature. If it's a camming e-mail, I panic that I've absentmindedly signed off with my real name.
So far, in 8 yrs of camming, I've sent one cam-related email from my personal email by accident (stupid iphone gives you access to ALL your contacts, no matter which email account you are signed into....d'oh!) and one time, I signed off with my real name by accident. LOL! And I facebook messaged a cam customer from my real facebook ONCE, but I deleted the message right away and have no indication he ever read it. That was probably my biggest face-palm moment. I have never yet, to my knowledge, accidentally sent anything containing my camming links to anyone in my real life or at my vanilla job (and I will die if I ever do).
Has anyone else ever fucked up this way? Tweeted or facebooked from the wrong account? Does your heart rate spike whenever you hit 'send' on ANY email, like mine does? :-)

And Judas is still in the freezer.
