Default A regular asking for OTC

I have a regular who comes to see me every week since spring, he's really nice, respectful and always tip well. For all these months he never mentioned OTC except once after maybe 3 months he offered to drive me home after work since it was almost closing time, he promised there wouldn't be anything else but I politely refused.

I have never met any customers outside of the club before or even considered it but he asked me recently if I would be interested. He said he just wanted the same type of dance he gets in the club and maybe a dinner. He didn't try to pressure me and just told me to think about it. He's one of the very few clients that I trust so I didn't say no, I feel comfortable with him and am tempted to give him a chance but I have never done this before. I am not sure if it's a good idea and how to handle this situation... what do you girls think?

Keep it in the club. Why risk the steady income?

IMO, if he wants the same kind of dance as in the club then he should just get it in the club.

Now, if he wants to pay you for going to dinner with him or take you shopping that's one thing, but I would be super wary if he wants to go back to either of your places alone. That just seems like it could go badly way too easily. Personally, I also wouldn't be comfortable with getting in a car with a customer.

This situation sounds sketchy, he may seem like a nice guy but you have to be careful who you trust. Especially with no bouncers around. I agree with sierra.

Never get in a car with a customer, let him know where you live, or go to his house. If he wants to pay you for dinner, meet him at the restaurant separately. No matter how nice someone may seem, you just never know what bad intentions he may be hiding.

    Be safe.

I agree with what others have said - I wouldn't have a problem with going to dinner or whatever, but anything that involves dancing or otherwise is going to need to be alone with him at his house or a hotel, and that's just too risky. There would be no reason for him to need to take it out the club, unless he wanted to get more handsy than the bouncers allow. Meeting him in public is at least relatively safe - you drive yourself there and back and you're in a restaurant. But even though he's a really good customer to you, you don't actually know enough about the "real" him to be alone with him at his home.

I'd make it clear that I wasn't ok with dancing etc outside of the club, but that I'd love to meet for dinner or drinks somewhere. Make sure he knows he has to pay you for your time, and if he's not getting the hint, tell him something like "ohhh, I soooo wish I could go for dinner with you! But I can't afford to take the night off work..." and then when he offers to compensate you for whatever you'd make in a night, quote him a nice big amount that'll make dinner worth your while.

cutting to the 'chase', interacting with customers in any way outside of the club involves crossing a 'dotted line' ... from exotic dancer to 'escort' / 'sugar baby'. While there's nothing inherently wrong with doing that, in the customer's mind at least meeting a customer OTC implies that the girl is willing to provide 'personal services' for a price. As other posters have pointed out, at minimum doing this can permanently alter the customer / dancer financial relationship. And, at worst, it can open the door to an array of potential future problems ... and particularly so if you reach the point where the OTC customer wants 'personal services' and the dancer isn't willing to provide them.

I think you girls are right... It would be better for me not to see him OTC.

This thread made me think...It must be really hard for a client to see a dancer OTC, be cheap and it is a definite no, tip well and be nice, it may still be a no.

not to threadjack, but i had a customer who came in a dropped a couple hundred to hang out at the club a couple nights a week for about 7 months before he asked me to go OTC then it never stopped and it got more and more annoying. we had a blowout at the club and things have been kinda awkward and now i sit and say hi and shoot the shit for 20 mins over a drink then he hands me a benjamin but thats it. hey better than nothing i guess.

what i take away from that is, even if a customer was amazing at first, and then they r mad at u for not wanting to see them otc, they might not come itc for a month or so, but they will ALWAYS come crawling back. probably never in the same way, but most of these guys who drop hundreds all the time for months are in love with you.

now instead of 2x a week of 300-400 each time its 1x a week 100 bucks but hey its still guaranteed money once a week and i can focus on other less needy customers.

ANOTHER thing, last week i thought i got a new customer (2 hours in champagne which is a big deal/a lot of money at our club) and i was like YESS he didn't even want me to dance the whole time new perfect cutomer. gave him my dancer number and within 2 hours he's sending me dirty text messages about how he wants to sex me and i can bring a friend if i want!! EW. fuck that.

either way, if a customer ever gets sketchy, fahgehhttaboutit. there is always more where he came from.
