Lightbulb How to continue stripping even though you're chubby?

Any tips on how you maintain the confidence up if you're chubby and enjoy the job?

I am going to lose weight ASP though, I just feel like a fat whale, but the urban market likes me (unfortunately not enough urban people come into my club). I don't think I can do Fri/Sat shifts until I drop 10 lbs though. That takes like a month of work though. I don't want to quit it though.

So how do I keep my confidence up??? I feel like a joke on the pole lol. I plan on moving to a nice club after I drop the weight.

170 lbs at 5'7, just so you know.

i will sooo trade with you!! i work in an urban area also and the most popular and sought-after body type is thick and curvy. i spent months avoiding weekends and gorging and being insecure. i've finally come to terms with my body because every kind of (healthy) body type can be attractive in its own way i think, every guy has a different type they like! just try to enjoy your own body tell yourself that you are beautiful luscious and curvy ( i don't think it ever hurts to tone tho, if that will make you more confident). good luck!

Thanks, that made me felt better. I don't feel my body is unattractive, but I don't think it's up to par to be a stripper. I work at a bar that mostly older white men enter. All the dancers are thin or average built.

I wouldn't gain too much weight if I was you though, it's not too healthy. I would love to be thin though, even to the point that I'll trade my body for A cup to be thin.

It just depends on what the market wants. I should probably just pretend that I have a "thin and hot" body for money sake's you know, and if I get rejected, well whatever. I'm going to make the money. I just don't know how to click that hot chick persona on...

What are your best features? Focus on those to up your confidence, and play them up with your outfits and make up to make them stand out. Like, yeah, you're chubby, but maybe you've got long legs or a nice ass or a killer smile.

Depends on how your weight is distributed. I have a friend who is about 5'6 and 160 but you would never know it until you put her on a scale. If you really want to lose weight do cardio for 2 hours a day.

Definately "fake it til you make it" in the confidence area. Hold your head up and know that while you are not where you ultimately want to be weight-wise, you are still beautiful and that you are working every day to achieve your desired changes. It's hard but try not to say mean things to yourself because this will hurt your money worse than anything. Guys like all types of bodies, so keep that in mind too.

Quit glueten and you'll drop faster.

otherwise dress to hide your flaws: thigh highs for cellulite, waist cincher for middle,
and a hell of a push up bra for your boobies and some va va va voom hair and you'll
be drawing in the white guys too. Also, what you are wearing and how you speak will
also draw in or limit customers who want you.

I think speech patterns and tones are one thing on SW that hasn't been broached much but word choice,
with a slow sexy delivery and the right naughty look in the eye has WAY more to do with getting the
sale (in my experience) than body type (unless you're way fat which it doesn't sound like you are; or if you go to the club and don't do your hair or makeup---strange but true, some women do this.)
    Ungoogle yourself:

    Also, now offering phone sexins!

Work it like a goddamn Kardashian!
    Own your curves.

Dress differently. Cover your pudgy bits, consider wearing a cincher or a corset, a longer dress may disguise your perceived problem areas, wear darker colors to make you look slender. Always, always, always, accentuate your boobz and your booty.

Then.... dance your ass off. No sitting in the dressing room, forego snacks and high-calorie booze, and stay in motion. Work extra vigorously hard and the weight will drop off.

I wore cowl neck dresses while trying to drop weight. They definitely hide it! I was 5'5 and 140, now I'm 122 and sassy! Hehehe

Being the only curvier girl at a club can be a big advantage. I've worked with a few larger girls who banked because they were the only girl of that body type in the club, of course you have to totally own it and be confident and not let guys mean remarks get to you, but any guy who prefers women with a few more curves (and there are more of them than you think) will be drawn to you.

Definitely some great advice on here, what helped my friend lose weight was a book/(I don't know if it's a dvd too) called, "Glycemic Index". Good Luck!

lots and lots and lots of fake bake/spray tan (if that works for your look) helps me when i'm feeling pudgy.

also wearing black. seems so cliche but really makes a difference if you're feeling chubs

do ur hair and makeup awesome so ppl r focusing on ur face. that also works for me too.

Its true u become a novelty when u work with girls who r a size 0 and a size 2....Im a size 6 and sadly some people think thats big..And then I talk with regular real life girls who r a size 12 and think my size 6 is small....Go figure..Its sick when many of my co-workers think Im fat at a size 6 too..Just goes to show how warped some peoples' perceptions r...Im not gonna starve myself to a skeleton just to achieve a size 0 or 2.....That isnt healthy..They prolly loathe me when I have 15 pounds on them and I still do well considering how slow the clubs r..
