Default Starting Stripping soon..I need much needed advice!

    Hi everyone,

Im looking to start stripping this upcoming January, so in the new year. Basically to get myself through school and pay off a ton of debt really etc...
Ive tried looking around to find the best answers and advice but I havent found much detailed answers that Im looking for ..I have a few questions...

-When applying to become A stripper, do I just go into the bar and ask for the manager just asking if there are any open positions to become a stripper?
-Do you have to do solo dances on stage or are you on stage with multiple girls doing your own dance? (If seen places with only one pole on the stage so im kinda confused...ide prefer being on stage with others haha)
-Honestly, Im not entirely sure what goes on in a VIP lounge...could someone please explain this to me (If it involves touching/sex This is definatly what im not going for)
-Do you have to have a tryout dance to be hired all the time?
-Do you set your own schedual/breaks how does that work
-And lastly (probably the most dumbest question lol) if your giving a lapdance, what if they try and cheap you out and dont pay you, how does this work they pay before or what..?

Im so sorry about all these questions everyone haha I have alot of confidence in becoming a stripper for reasons, but im one that asks a ton of questions just to be sure. Sorry if these questions seem entirely stupid, I just want to be sure!

    Thanks Everyone!

Yes. You can also call in advance to see if they only audition on certain days/times, just to save yourself the trip.

In most clubs I'd say you'll be up on your own, but I've heard of clubs that have huge stages with a ton of girls, so it's not unheard of to go up with others.

Strip club =/= brothel. That said, extras are rampant in some clubs so you may encounter girls breaking the rules in VIP. Generally, you can expect the same thing as you would in a lap dance but for a set amount of time, perhaps with some more leniency in terms of contact and more time spent on conversation and less dancing. Whether or not touching is allowed depends on local bylaws, but no-contact clubs are becoming pretty rare.

No. Sometimes the manager just takes a look at you and you're hired.

Scheduling depends on the club. Your whole shift can be a break if you want it to be, so you have control over that aspect.

It's always good to get payment upfront, but that's not always the norm. Always explain the price to the customer so they can't claim stupidity. If someone tries to stiff you, that's why clubs have bouncers.

Take some time to read through Hustle Hut, Stripping General, and the Newbie Board. Most of this stuff has actually been covered in depth, so you'll get a better idea of what to expect.

    Good luck!

When I started fishing for clubs I literally just got all dolled up and drove to them one by one. I didn't call ; I just showed up. They all had valet so I told the valet driver I was interested in dancing; from there they pretty much told me who to talk to (and they didn't charge to park my car...although def tip them). Most of the mngrs gave me a tour and explained how things worked. I asked to sit at a bar/table and observe. I don't know if it's just me, but I could tell within five min if it was a club I wanted to be at. Keep yourself a priority and don't sell yourself short. YOU are choosing, NOT Them. Don't be pressured to dance somewhere you aren't comfortable just because you think you aren't good enough for another club. After choosing, you may have to audition. My biggest advice is to keep to yourself and work. Avoid gossip and drama.
I'd grab my trumpet and I'd do a stripper sound, like the old Louis Armstrong, real raspy. And the people would go nuts! Then I knew that the sexual, sensual, guttural sound, that throbbing sound, is where it's at.

Tell them you're interested in auditioning.
-Do you have to do solo dances on stage or are you on stage with multiple girls doing your own dance? (If seen places with only one pole on the stage so im kinda confused...ide prefer being on stage with others haha)
It depends on the setup of the bar, how busy it is and how many dancers. I work at one club where there is only 1 dancer on at a time but they open up the side stage if it gets busy.
-Honestly, Im not entirely sure what goes on in a VIP lounge...could someone please explain this to me (If it involves touching/sex This is definatly what im not going for)
Depends on what part of the country you're in. I've worked no contact clubs and I've worked hardcore full contact.
-Do you have to have a tryout dance to be hired all the time?
Not always. Smaller clubs may look you up and down and hire you on the spot. I've walked in with my street clothes and been hired.
-Do you set your own schedual/breaks how does that work
Some places like the East Coast are scheduling nazis.
-And lastly (probably the most dumbest question lol) if your giving a lapdance, what if they try and cheap you out and dont pay you, how does this work they pay before or what..?
