Hey thereI am looking around for places to move to in southern New Jersey. Do you all have any suggestions of towns to look into or avoid?

Avoid Camden. I have a friend who lives near Wildwood in Dennisville and it looks like a nice area.

I agree about Camden - and avoid Atlantic City as well - It depends on where you will be working - if you are working in AC then Wildwood, Sommers Point, Hamilton Twp. or the surrounding towns - Don't forget that the summer Jersey Shore traffic can be really bad
If you are working in the Philly area then Cherry Hill or Pennsauken may be good choices
There are lots of good towns in the "northern part of south Jersey" Ocean and Monmouth counties have nice areas. Stay away form Asbury Park for now although I hear there is a gentrification going on. The closer you live to the beaches the more $$$ it will be.
So it all depends on what part of Southern NJ you are going to work in - the other tip is that North-South highways are better than East-West highways in South Jersey
Good Luck
Here's New Jersey for you:

Thank you everyone! I was looking towards Cherry Hill. I'm a cam model so I don't have to worry about clubs etc. Thank you again!
Great map - and pretty accurate too!

^^^ Indeed !!! I used to live on the border of 'Lake Houses Owned by New Yorkers' and 'Executives Living in Mansions Driving Mercedes Benz's'
Hey Melonie - we were almost neighbors once
That map is great !!!

I lived in Lawyers Driving Hybrids and Happy White Families LOL
I can do better than you in a two bit fancy house

I grew up in jersey and spent 24 years there I would go towards old bridge area or anywhere in monmouth county really...
Ocean and Monmouth are decent areas, Toms River and Brick are getting kind of pricey, Lakehurst is okay, Manahawkin is decent too. In my experience the apartments there weren't much more than the metro ATL area where I live now, but house prices are FUCKING ridiculous. Asbury Park is getting a lot better, but I wouldn't move there yet. It does seem to have bottomed out and be on the way up and the old convention hall is beautiful now. Atlantic City is a dump and, like anywhere else for tourists, it's crowded and obnoxious. If you leave near the shore, be prepared to have your roads, stores, restaurants, etc overrun with the bennies from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Parts of North Jersey are nice, but the closer you get to NYC the pricier. Good luck!
