    Default sooper noob saying hi

just wanted to say hello everyone !!! i just went in to ask a manager about a job @ a new topless spearmint rhino club in LA called dames n games, i've never danced before. he said he'd be happy to hire me but i didnt have anything to audition in so i bought some sexy gear and i'm going in tomorrow. i'm nervous but reading the posts on this board beforehand helped a lot :] its a very beautiful club but pretty dead when i went in there (6pm tues) so @ least i won't be getting up in front of too many ppl though im hoping it picks up soon

Good luck! I started when it was slow as well, and I found it to be a good way to get used to my new surroundings (and getting naked in them) before the real money came into the club.

^ Agree with above. I'm glad you are starting off in a nice club also. Don't sell yourself short like I did and work for "lower class/etc" clubs just because you are new. The dancing will become second natural very quickly. Just remember to take things slow and let your body adjust. Men don't care about how fast you can dance and what insane pole tricks you can do (In my XP). They prefer slow & sensual...oh yes and SMILE!!! I'm by FAR not the bubbly, ditzy type, but after "putting on the act" and making every man feel like all you care about is his job, his outfit, his life, HIM--you will land dances easily. Don't get discouraged from rejection. It happens alllll the time. Just keep smiling! Keep us updated and GL!
I'd grab my trumpet and I'd do a stripper sound, like the old Louis Armstrong, real raspy. And the people would go nuts! Then I knew that the sexual, sensual, guttural sound, that throbbing sound, is where it's at.

thank you!!! so i went in today pretty shook but another girl i met in the DR was really really helpful, she sat next to the stage and calmed me down cause i've never even been to a strip club (except for Hong Kong in TJ but that was just a whorehouse), much less take my top off in front of several people!! i'm pretty excited about this job and so glad i found this board before i jumped right into it

I know one of the dj's there and he asked me to come in, I've been debating but I also know they have an incentive deal going on right now. I'm just hesitant because they are also a sports bar, which in my experience takes away from the hustle

the clientele has definitely turned more ghetto over the course of just a couple months.. mainly just because of the area and a number of the gangster types spill over from Sam's Hofbrau.. that's moreso the case on weekend nights; throughout the week it's pretty diverse from little hoodlums to businessmen types.. there's ALL types of girls there and i would say that there isn't really a preference because the crowd changes throughout the week. also mgmt encourages rock song selection rather than straight up ass clapping type jams.

this club is the first club that i hated goin onstage..because i heard (and saw) that girls get aloooot of tips onstage from these gangsters because they do fancy pole tricks and shake clap their butts etc...which i can't do either of them!! and why does the stage feel/seem so dam slippery etc blehhh

there is definitely a lot of booty shaking onstage (i would say on average about 3/4 of the girls do it, and the other 1/4 goes more rock/industrial), but i find that it doesn't deter or enhance from your chances of selling dances on the floor. i'm very basic onstage but i still make tips and fare pretty well -- don't let it discourage you.

ya that's true...but you know if majority of the dudes who go there (esp on weekends) are bigger booty lovers well then...
but i only go onstage once and am busy/held up rest of the night because i had coupla my regulars (from another club) come every time i (want to) work!!~
p.s. idk why i put the cow emoticon; just sooo cute!~

ugh i really have no idea.. as of right now they only use it on friday/saturday nights to seat overflow of people but it's retarded because they don't charge anyone to go in!! there's another pole in there so the girls are supposed to do one song in VIP after the main stage but they hardly ever do. i was in there saturday night for the fight and made nada cause the so-called VIP's weren't spenders they just sat in there to get a closer look @ the TV. everything about that room is still up in the air.
