    Default Audition, Also HI!

Hi, I guess I'll start with an obvious I'm completely new at this, hi everyone!
So, I'm hopefully auditioning for my first ever club in just over a week, and I need advice! It's a Spearmint Rhino club in England, and I'm not sure what to wear, or really how to do anything. I've been told by management that they don't have any dress code and they wear anything, bikinis, underwear, dresses, anything, and that my audition will be working a full night. I guess I'm sort of rocker-esque, I have a couple of piercings, and I'm into rock music. The shoes I'm borrowing from my friend are these -

but that's all I've got so far. I'm not really sure what to wear with them, could I have some advice on what would look best?
Also, what do I wear going in? Do I bring my outfit with me and get changed there? What do I wear before that?
If any of you know of the Spearmint Rhino, do they do fully nude? Is it expected or optional? Just topless? Not even that?
How should I do my make up
If it helps, I'm 18, 5 foot 7, around 147 pounds, blonde(ish) and large chested.
Also, could you give me any advice on lapdancing? I pole dance, so I'm quite confident there, but I have no clue when it comes to lapdancing.
Are there any tips you can give ,me for the 'run up' to my audition, to get me more prepared physically/mentally. Any routines for beauty, looking after my body etc.?

Sorry for the massive list of questions! I just really want to be prepared for this.
    Thank you!

Hi Frankie welcome to SW. About outfits: my advice is to wear what you are comfortable with as well as something flattering to your body. I learned quickly that I didn't want to be messing with annoying outfits requiring time to put on/take off/etc, especially when you have to rush from a lap dance to the stage. The less frills the better IMO. My favorite outfits were the basic thong (or sometimes I'd wear two thongs), some type of bottom that was low on my hips (I thought they elongated my torso and minimized my big butt), and a bikini type top with a splash of color, pattern, etc. Again, easy on and easy off.

I used to ask mens' opinions on dancers' outfits. Every man that I talked to HATED the leg warmers; they also didn't like chunkier shoes or any other type of strings/wraps on dancers' legs. Their reason? They said they liked to see a woman's FULL leg (and ankles..they love looking at our delicate feet). I found that the clear cone-type heels were my favorite. Starting out you may want to invest in a pair of heels with an ankle strap until you get more comfortable. Also, with new shoes, I would use a hair dryer to heat up the plastic and then put my foot in them to loosen them up a little bit so your feet aren't squeezed so much.

Lap dancing will come easier with time. Move slow and focus on being sensual--pay attention to how the other dancers are giving a LD and you will catch on quickly. I'm not sure about your personal boundaries or your club's rules. Unfortunately I live an EXTREMELY high contact club and grinding is pretty much a "must." However, you have to learn your level of comfort and find what works for you. Your legs will be sore for the first week, but you will feel better shortly. Expect bruising from stage and pole work as well if you're not used to it. That will go away with time too.

As far as beauty? I'm a HUGE fan of false lashes. They will help you stand out more on stage. If you don't know how to put them on watch some youtube tutorials. I go a little heavy on the eye makeup and make sure I'm tan. I don't wear bright lip colors as I don't want to risk them getting on my outfits or on a customer. Also, NO GLITTER! Men hate it and don't want "evidence" when leaving the club. I like to get my makeup mostly done at home so I don't have to listen to the drama in the dressing room. As far as hair--the club I was at made it mandatory to wear your hair down, so I never wore it up.

    Hope this helps!
I'd grab my trumpet and I'd do a stripper sound, like the old Louis Armstrong, real raspy. And the people would go nuts! Then I knew that the sexual, sensual, guttural sound, that throbbing sound, is where it's at.

Do you have a pair of normal heels? I think they're pretty awful too, and they don't even look like they'll be comfortable. As for your outfit, wear something you already have in your closet that makes you feel sexy, is easy to take off and put back on again relatively quickly, and is flattering. That can be a dress (or long shirt/tunic that you can wear as a dress in the club), a bra and panty/skirt set, or whatever you have around. No need to invest in anything until you've auditioned and know this is the job for you.

Normal clothes. Something flattering that shows off your body but nothing that you'd wear on the floor. Bring your outfit (and maybe an extra one or two just in case) and get changed in the club after you've introduced yourself to the manager.

    What city are you in?

In whatever fashion is most flattering but a bit more dramatically than for everyday wear since it's dark in the club.

Make eye contact, act like you're having fun, and move slowly and sensually.
