I think the north and south had a fair trade of laughs. Living in the south we live for these storms to come with vengeance and fury, parties etc. Since Katrina we do take storms more serious in the South.
Unfortunately it hit us more as a tropical storm. Sandy hit the Northern states as a Cat 1 Hurricane? (correct me if I am wrong about that)
This AM talking with Northern friends and making sure everyone is o.k. it was agreed upon there was a little overreaction and it was funny.
Southern States shut down when we HEAR of flurries (Clear the fucking roads, save all women and children)when Northern states are pounded by snow and chilling , going to work, school etc
Northern States go crazy with Hurricanes (clear the fucking roads, save all women and children)Southern States are checking the tides, Cat1 brings pretty awesome waves , a lot of drinking, neighbors helping board up business' and homes in the path of destruction. Its second nature to us.
All in all Sandy wasn't that bad. Its what people are use to. I had a few Northern clients online (NYC and Jersey Shoreline) saying "eh its a bit windy" ...
WEST COAST I pray you guys stay safe. I have never experienced a earthquake except the little fault lines that run through our state and we don't feel those as of yet. Weather Channel alerts us of those. I have seen pictures and video footage. SCARY SCARY and I would assume there is no "take cover" from a earthquake.
Sandy may have been a small storm. "BIG THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES" Sandy was meeting up with snowstorms, weather changes so it would not surprise me if she shines her fury on the west coast.
Prayers for all![]()

I wish there was a way to make a legit "emergency funds" for camgirls when we experience disasters and its PROVEN that the camgirl needs help to get back up and running. Its kinda hard to explain to the public why we need a computer, toys, etc etc A S A P... Only camgirls understand this NEED. This is our livelihood for a majority of us.
*Just thinking out loud*
Ah, sorry to hear Cupcake. How awful.

I'm on the east coast, and was without electricity for about 28 hours. It came back on a few hours ago, and I was thrilled, though pretty bummed that I had to throw out all this food I had bought the other day.
HUGS to all of you ladies and I hope that you stay safe! On the news they said that New Yorkers may have to wait up to 10 days to get electricity?!

Hear me ramble about random things:
After reading all this I must say I'm glad to be living in my country. The strongest earthquake of our history is 4.75 mag and it was in 1976. So I've never experienced a earthquake... We actually have no tornadoes, hurricanes etc either...
But all my best wishes and prayers to you there. I hope no one gets hurt.

Well, the East Coast storm was pretty much exactly what I expected here in MD. We just got our power back today, and the sliding door let plenty of water in (though the sliding door hasn't sat flush since the little earthquake last year) The house flooding was only on the basement level, which unfortunately is where the apartment i share with hubby is. Living room flooded to about an inch deep, but mostly because we are at the bottom of a hill. We'd gotten all our electronics and valuables up off the floor, and luckily the camroom escaped the flood altogether. My Mom never did lose power, so once the water started coming in, we ran to her place and came back late the next day when the rain let up. The water had receded by the time we got back, but the carpet and padding are still super saturated. We'll have to replace the carpet just to make sure we get any mold up out of the floor, but overall, me and mine are in one piece and have little damage to come back from. Getting on cam tonight for the first time since the storm.
Best wishes to all the other east coast ladies, and the same goes to the west coast ladies, the midwest ladies, the gulf coast ladies, and well....frankly anybody who has ever had to prepare and recover from a natural disaster.

Hey, I'm in Maryland too. We got our power back on Tuesday night (October 30th). I'm very grateful for that, but right now I'm pretty upset that I haven't received my MyFreeCams payment. After the power outage from the hurricane, I had to throw out food that I had just bought. I came from the grocery store just now, and had to pay for other stuff today. Now I'm pretty much out of money until I get my damn MFC payment.
Since those of us who were on MFC daily pay have been released from daily pay, we were all expecting to be paid TODAY on November 1st. I've been out all day today (got lost in freaking Baltimore City), and kept checking my Payoneer balance, hoping that I got my MFC payment on my card...still nothing. It's now 8:30 PM. The only payment I received today was my money from ImLive.
