    Default Herp derp food question

I cooked a (bought) lasagne last night, left it out to cool, put foil over it after i cleaned up and intended to let it cool a bit longer before putting in the fridge... forgot and left it out all night. Put it away this morning at 7. I feel like I've done this before but do you think it will be ok to eat for dinner today?

nope. did that once and had to throw it out.
The cheese and any meat would grow bacteria
and even if you cook it again and kill the bacteria,
you still have the leftover toxins. I'm not sure if it's
exotoxins or exitotoxins...can't recall the actual word
    for it.

I do this regularly with pizza, but I have a ridiculously strong immune system (literally haven't had a cold in 8 years). I wouldn't recommend it, especially with uncured meats like beef. Too long in the temperature danger zone (40-130 degrees farenheit).

Gah I know, i got a huuge one as well to save money for the rest of the week cos i'm on a shitty budget right now. Just got busy after dinner then went to bed lol

I think I'll bin it, even if I think it'd be ok I won't enjoy it worrying. This is why I don't cook chicken anymore, I doubt it's done well enough gah!

    Kinda thread jacking but..
This just made me feel bad about the Del Taco egg and bacon quesadilla I just ate. I did microwave it though. It was left out for 12 hours. I'll report back if I get sick.

I leave stuff out all the time. I must have a great immune system because it's never gotten me sick. My theory is that a lot of foods, especially frozen dinners, fast food and the like, have so much salt that it inhibits the bacteria growth.
I am pretty well versed in food safety, have taken entire classes on the subject, and it goes against food safety rules for SURE. But I'm also not a child, pregnant, elderly, or have a compromised immune system.
