Tired Eye drops / treatments for monitor-fatigued eyes?

I have been working long hours recently, and my eyes feel like they are rotting... Aesthetically, I have dark circles under them (that even my concealer battles with! So while we're at it: any great concealers?!) and they just feel so... ugh. -_-

Any suggestions for any nice, indulgent treatments or eye drops that can help remedy this?

    Many thanks!

I LOVEEEE Mac's concealers. They give great coverage while very moisturizing. The one I specifically love & buy is MoistureCover. But I don't know of any treatments or eye drops to help, that's actually something I am interested in as well haha.

Good question! My eyes always get red and irritated from staring at the screen.

For concealer I use Maybelline's Dream Lumi Touche and I love it.

When I got lasik my doctor recommended Optive Refresh Liquigel eyedrops every two-ish hours when using the computer for long periods and before bedtime (because you blink less during computer use your eyes dry out faster and if you go to bed with dry eyes you'll wake up worse because you don't make tears when asleep). I still do it, they are amazing, really nice and thick drops and they coat your eyes so they feel instantly better.

my eyes hurting was one of my first little cam hurdles i had to jump over. I think it was loveshooks that gave me a bunch of good advice about adjusting the brightness of your monitor and changing the resolution so the text is bigger. I tweaked mine a little and it helped. Also look where your lighting is. My eyes were giving me huge problems when one of my lamps was directly behind the monitor....i thought i was giving myself nice head on lighting, but ouch. I moved the lamp over by about 45 degrees, so the light still hits me, but the light bulb is more in my peripheral vision than straight ahead, and it made a huge difference. Moving the lights around helped more than tweaking the monitor settings. Good luck!

Also. Years ago when I was editing my photo portfolio in college and had a huge deadline and lots of eye strain, i heard about "eye yoga". I have no idea if its a real thing, but I've done it ever since. There's a couple steps. First you clamp your eyes shut as hard as you can, hard enough to see some of the flashing colored floaters, and you hold that shut for, like 20 seconds or so, then with your eyes still shut, but just normal shut...you roll your eyeballs as far to the left as you possibly can, then as far to the right as you possibly can, then as high up into your forehead as your possibly can, then down at your cheeks. All with your eyes gently closed. Then you clamp 'em shut hard again and they'll throb a bit and you'll see a bunch of colored floaties, and then when you open them they feel a lot better. Doesn't help much with the burning, but great for the aching. I dunno google eye yoga and see if its even a real thing and not something i forgot I made up in college, lol....

Oh, for under eye circles, can't beat hemorrhoid cream....and now Preparation H makes a "Cooling Witch Hazel Gel" version that feels so nice on tired puffy eyes, and shrinks the blood vessels especially underneath in the bags area. I've gotten a huge glob of the stuff right in my eye before too and it didn't burn any more than shampoo. I use the stuff almost daily...and I'm not blind yet, so it's probably not too too bad for ya.

    Feel better!

Rohto V eye drops are the best. They leave behind a minty refreshing feeling.

KimKlass told me to try Rohto Ice since my contacts get irritated after a few hours. Dry eyes+contacts+computer monitors=owwwwch! Right now I'm using Systane Ultra which helps some, but I want to try the Rohto Ice stuff once my little bottle is out.

Rohto eye drops are awesome. They are super intense though, and make my eyes water like crazy for a couple of minutes. But then my eyes are refreshed and look much clearer. I put them in before I put my contacts in.
