My club has an upcoming customer appreciation day where they are doing free admission and $2 dances. It is free house to dancers who work that day and they want everyone to work. I'm just not sure whether or not to go in. The manager has told me, "Don't worry, no guy is going to ACTUALLY pay you only $2 for a dance, they'll throw in a big tip." I seriously just don't know if this is true. Maybe with SOME customers but I am afraid it is going to attract a bunch of cheapskates who will really only pay $2/dance. Thankfully, they say they are going to shorten the songs to 2 minutes. So I need some advice, how do you ask for a dance and make it clear that you are expecting more than $2/song? Do you think there is good money to be made, or should I stay home?
Thanks for any advice.
