    Question Customer Appreciation Day

My club has an upcoming customer appreciation day where they are doing free admission and $2 dances. It is free house to dancers who work that day and they want everyone to work. I'm just not sure whether or not to go in. The manager has told me, "Don't worry, no guy is going to ACTUALLY pay you only $2 for a dance, they'll throw in a big tip." I seriously just don't know if this is true. Maybe with SOME customers but I am afraid it is going to attract a bunch of cheapskates who will really only pay $2/dance. Thankfully, they say they are going to shorten the songs to 2 minutes. So I need some advice, how do you ask for a dance and make it clear that you are expecting more than $2/song? Do you think there is good money to be made, or should I stay home?
    Thanks for any advice.

Stay home? Quit that club! Two bucks?? What a joke! It should be free entrance only, that's it.

Seriously omg. $2 for even a 2 minute dance is way way way too little, and you KNOW the DJ will be promoting the fuck out of how cheap they are, so there will be no hiding from it, and there are totally cheapskates who will only pay $2-$5 or will keep you back there for half an hour for a measly $20. Think about that. 30 minutes of work to make the same you normally do in 3 minutes. That is fucked right up.

My advice if you really want to stay in this club and can't get out of working this (totally come up with a viable excuse to get out of it though, it's going to be crap with all the girls in and such a low dance price) horrendous day: overcharge. Sure, the customer can get you back there for $2, but don't take any clothes off and only give air dances unless they pony up $20 a dance. Of course, this will only be so effective if all the other girls are giving actual dances for $2 (idiots) and the customers are truly cheapskates who don't care who they get dances from as long as they're only $2. But seriously, you are worth more than $2 for 2 minutes.

Thanks ladies. I think I am going to work it because the managers have taken good care of me over the years here so I feel like I owe it to them to show up. I think enough of the girls here complained though and they are just going to throw out $2 dances like once or twice an hour or something. Thank goodness!

Do you have any regulars that you can invite in so you only have to give the $2 dances to them? Then they will tip you and they feel good that you thought of them leading to future visits.
