When you have them take out taxes they become your employer and you lose the freedoms of setting your own hours. If I were going to do that I'd go back to the corporate world (no thanks)!

Honestly it sounds like this may not be the best work for you. You are really young and still developing your feelings about sexuality and don't seem to enjoy camming. I love camming when it's busy and I'm making money. I absolutely adore being in charge of my own hours and income.

Life is too short to spend time doing things that make you feel so badly about yourself.

Sounds like taxes aren't the problem, but the actual work you're doing. If you inherently feel like you're struggling and sacrificing yourself to do this job, no amount of money will ever be enough to make it worthwhile.

While I understand that wholeheartedly, and I appreciate both of your replies, I cannot possibly be the only performer whom feels this way, yet still determines that the pros of doing this outweigh the cons. Furthermore, I am pursuing my education and am focusing a lot on setting the groundwork for a career outside of this in the future, so it's not as though I am resigning myself to this for eternity, given that it may not be the greatest emotional fit for me. It's more of a means to an end, and something that I happen to really excel at and succeed in. I can assure you that on the majority of evenings, my customers are none-the-wiser that I am less-than-thoroughly enjoying myself, contrary to the way I have expressed myself here.
