Warning this is LONG!! I retired from camming in Jan, and let me say, leaving the webcam industry has been an adventure to say the least. I decided to get into working in the stripclubs as a server and cashierI have since worked at 3 places (left two for my own reasons) I suppose the third time is a charm. It has been very hard to get back into working a "normal job" for lack of a better word, at least for me.
I am an alcoholic so serving drinks wasnt really working out too well for me at the first clubs I worked for. I decided to get into cashiering at my latest job and have very much enjoyed it. I have made great money and made alot of connections. I wanted to start a home based webdesign business, so decided going into this I would network, network, network...I have so many webdesigns to do now and have gained some recognition with management at my club.
I received some fantastic news the other day to my shock and amazement!!!! I got promoted to do the clubs webdesign, to maintain the website and do internet marketing/social media for the club. I am so very happy. I have wanted to focus on webdesign/internet marketing as my career path since I have retired, but I had to make ends meet somehow so I could invest, so stripclubs were it for me in the meantime. I am so happy to put my skills to use. As all of you know, a good majority of your job as a webcam model is to market your services on the internet.
I want to see this club grow and become more successful. We are a bit on the slower side but the girls still make money. It is my goal to spread the word about this club on the internet and get more heads in the door (both custies and entertainers) I am trying to see if management will allow me to offer free house fees to the ladies here, etc. I have ALOT of ideas for the clubs website and internet marketing plan.
Sorry I continue to ramble on and on, I will get to the point. Nobody else knows social media like camgirls, but I have been out of the loop for a while. When I was camming, I would upload videos to youtube, do the twitter/facebook thing, etc. Youtube was my main source of traffic at the time. What are the most popular sites to advertise on now? I am also really upset about something. One of my favorite sites tubemogul, is not what it used to be. Tubemogul USED to allow users to upload ONE video and post it to several tube sites at once, such as youtube, revver, metacafe, etc. Is there anything out there like this now? I nearly cried when I saw that they are no longer offering this free service.
I hate to say it, but I really wish myspace was as popular as it once was. I kind of miss it, you could have your pics, blog, etc all in one place. FB and twitter....one sentence at a time. Yeesh lol.
I hope all of you are doing well. I miss you all even if we did disagree on things (wink wink) I will be online here much more, now that I am working as an internet marketer. I am going to have to change my screenname as I am no longer a cyber stripper lol. I will be happy to share more details about the club as well, in time (in the proper sections of course) I know this post probably does not belong here but I also believe it does not belong in stripping, either. Industry insight...that is probably where it belongs but I was most active in this section and wanted to see how everyone was doing. Thanks in advance for any advice, I will be popping back in soon with a new and improved screenname lol.
XOXO
