    Default Counterfeit Remy Extensions

Believe it or not, I just bought a pack of counterfeit hair extensions at $200 a pack. I got it from a store I normally don't go to but was highly recommended by a friend, I got it home and prepped it along with a pack from my usual store. I co-washed it, meaning I conditioned then washed it with sulfate free shampoo. Once it dried, I noticed one pack seemed thinner than the other and had a bit of shedding going on. Very unusual for this brand. so when i got up this morning, I compared the two packs and saw the packaging was slightly different. One looks like a good photocopy of the usual package logo! There are less stitch rows on one pack and I suspect they shorted me on the length. Bottom line, bring the packing from the legit pack to the store to be sure you're getting the real deal! I also found out this store lost it's authorization to sell the "designer" hair a few years back. Shady.

They're already unfolded and co-washed so I'm going to blend them with the other legit pack instead of haggling with these people. But you better believe I won't be buying there again. I'm thinking of buying about 10 packs in bulk so I can get them wholesale from the manufacturer and avoid this in the future.

Yeah, I only buy the beauty store brands if I need a quick fix or a lace frontal. Anything I going to spend big money on is wholesale for me, or from a very high in demand site/distributor. $200 is a lot to drop on hair for crap like they gave you. $200 should've gotten you 100% real remy hair, or perhaps a nice sew in.

I always buy my hair extensions at this reputable place near my home where most people I know buy their hair extensions and the products are very reasonably-priced. It is a around $130 for 18 inches human remy hair.

I was talking with another girl recently and she told me that she made an order online for human remy hair at around $50 on ebay and I should do that instead because it is much cheaper, especially if it is from China... I told her I was reluctant as some ebay sellers sell fake products even those who have a lot of good reviews (for example I have gotten a duplicate of ipod earphones for $10 that were supposed to be AUTHENTIC) and that products from China are most likely to be fake than if it is from the US... She did not believe me and said: fake remy hair?! who the fuck would sell that? lol...
$50 for 20 inches 100% human remy hair is just too good to be true in my opinion

^ You do realize that 90% of hair thats sold comes from china. The company I've been ordering my extensions from for 4 years the hair all comes from china. I wouldn't buy say true religion jeans that came out of china but hiar if the company is on ebay for years and has tons of good reviews and only afew negatives about the hair (everyone gets negative reviews for some reason) I'd try them. Aslo everythng apple is made in china so your earbuds were probably real!

The sound wasn't clear and the cord was different. I have bought several iphones and ipods from the actual apple store and often break my apple earbuds. I went to the store to buy a pair that I was sure were authentic to compare and there was clearly a difference lol.

I didn't know that 90% of hair was made in China but I am still hesitant about ordering them online. I prefer being able to see the product and touch it before buying it. I have ordered hair extensions once from a reputable brand and when I received the package, while the quality of the hair was amazing, it was way too thin for my liking even though they advertised that it was supposed to be the most voluminous type on the market.
