    Dizzy Damn Encoder

Okay, so I got a new computer, it has the required specs (i7, not sure of the memory but it's really good). Problem is, I just logged in for the first time and my audio is delayed by a full 30 seconds behind video! I don't know why! I have an upload speed over 5 Mbps and everything seems to be fine, I just checked it. I am at a loss, support isn't getting back to me soon enough. Anyone had this problem and figured out how to fix it?

I haven't had that problem, but what sound settings are you using? Or what mic do you have chosen on the encoder? Sorry to hear you're having issues

I have the proper audio settings (Mp3, mono, 44100 Hz and 56 kbps), I have the same mic chosen as my vid (my Logitech C920 mic and cam). I am at a loss at what the problem could be!

Wow. So even with an i7, you have that delay with the encoder? That sucks, and I'm curious what SM's response will be. They flat out told me "If you don't have an i7 computer, you're going to have problems." But you DO have i7, and it sounds like your internet and everything else is fine too, so I'm curious what the problem is. I hope SM is able to get back to you with some helpful information. Good luck.

^ I use an i7/encoder/fast internet, and I still have problems with SM. It's nothing horrible, but I will delay at times and it freezes occasionally.

OP, if you're looking at yourself through your cammodels link, it will look delayed. If you're looking at yourself through the encoder and it's delayed, then there's a problem. As I said, delays happen to me sometimes, even though I use an i7 and fast internet. I think it's something on SM's end, though I doubt they'd admit to it.

It's not that it's delayed (not delayed at all in my encoder window, but I expect a small delay on my cammodels link), it's that the audio is behind the video. I will smack my ass, or say something, and the video will do what I did with a maybe 3 second delay (which is fine), but the audio won't show up for 5-30 seconds! I can handle a delay, I can't handle the audio being so off of the video. Does that make sense?

Figured it out! I guess my drivers and software for my webcam hadn't downloaded to my new computer correctly so it was screwing up. But once I got everything downloaded properly it fixed the issue and everything ran fine. So if that ever happens to anyone, that your audio and video aren't matching up and are delayed on a new comp, make sure that your webcam software is properly installed, it might fix it. Thank you for the support everyone!
