    Default Question about LLC :)

I am reposting this here as per tuesdaymarie's suggestion!

I'm just curious if anybody here knows: if a dancer were to start an LLC and treat her business as a freelancing career, could this potentially give her verifiable income and simultaneously a "cover story" for future vanilla job pursuits?

I write freelance and strip, and have been contemplating starting an LLC, but I'm curious about the legalities of pouring my freelance AND my stripper income into the same umbrella business. There shouldn't be anything wrong with that, right?

yes, an LLC or especially an S-Corp can provide a verifiable income source via issuance of a regular 'paycheck' by the corporation to the 'employee'. An LLC or especially an S-Corp can also provide a layer of 'insulation' ... since the S-Corp actually provides the adult entertainment services, while the owner is officially listed as an 'employee' of corporation XYZ.

And there aren't any issues about grouping camming, exotic dancing, and/or 'other' adult related income under the same corporate 'umbrella', as long as the accounting is clear.

Thanks for the reply. I was asking if I could include my freelance writing income, too -- which would not be 'adult' related. Obviously, the two businesses are entirely different, so my question is whether or not it's possible to account for them within one LLC.

If that would work...I suggest a Delaware, Nevada, Utah llc or some state which doesn't record the owner's names - makes it virtually untraceable

the IF part is whether the clubs (or whatever) will list your LLC or your name....

That could get complicated, but its not impossible.

i got around that problem by listing the name of my S-Corp as 'Melonie Charm Ent.".
