    Default Disabled Clients

I have seen a two disabled clients in the past they are gentlemen and appreciate my service. Can be a bit high maintenance but I don't mind seeing a disabled client. I know some ladies in this business don't offer service to men with a physical disability for obvious reasons.

How do you feel about clients with a disability?
Many of the obstacles you once imagined are not even there.

Ive seen clients with disabilities...not an issue to me. My first was one had no control over his legs or arms, and very little in his fingers, but interestingly his happy part still worked fine. We never talked about it, but I guess birth defect. He had a mechanical railing on the ceiling that went from his bed into the bathroom with a harness that would hoist him him and carry him along the railing, and Id use the remote to control it to lift him out his wheelchair and into bed. First time I saw him and he showed me that, I was like cooooool, its like a disney ride in your bedroom! That cracked him up and we saw each other quite a few times after that.

One of the clubs I worked at had a quadriplegic customer that would come in. He would come in after going to all the regular bars in town selling roses for a local runk driving awareness charity (thats how he became disabled). Totally sweet but never got dances. On the slow nights I would keep him company. Sit in his lap and chat until business picked up. If he had any extra roses left he would give me one.

A club I used to visit (too close to home for me to work) had a customer everyone knew as Wheels. When he came in the girls would flock to him! He was a great guy to chat with, would have a few drinks, get some dances and be on his way.

Then there are the disabled guys who are out with their non disabled friends. I hate to say it, but how much time I would spend with them would be dependant on what their buddies were like. Some friends would hand me money an say, "My buddy just needs a good time tonight, take care of him" Then there would be asshole friends that would try to dancer poach if the disabled one was on the way to closing a deal for dances or they would act like a jerk in general and ruin the atmosphere at the table. I actually am the kind of person that'll try treat a disabled customer a lot better than a "normal" customer. Sometimes these guys have it a little tougher, so the extra attention can pad my purse if its an appreciative guy. I try to be more accepting of the behaviour at the table, but I won't let them get to the point of being disrespectful more than a "normal" group. There have been times that the friends have just annoyed me to the point of apologising and moving on.
