    Default Outfit ideas

    Morning girls,

So, last night I was sitting with a regular & a few other custies came up and began chatting with us. After a few drinks, the topic turned to outfits and my reg said that he wished girls were more creative with their outfits. He said he saw a girl wear a mens button up with thigh highs and it was the sexiest thing he'd ever seen. Meanwhile all the other guys at the table were nodding and saying they love when girls wear briefs (like the little boy underwear) and how they would empty their wallets if they saw a girl in the club wearing a pair. Then another guy mentioned top hats. So it got me thinking, has anyone tried wearing things like this? How does it effect your money? What are some good unconventional stripper gear ideas besides the ones already mentioned? Let me know!

    xo

By the way, if this should be in 'stripping general' feel free to move it!

I would like to know about this too!! My club leans two ways: basic, but sexy bikini (I have no tits so this doesn't work to my advantage) or gothic chick (fishnet everything, black leather boots, etc.) which doesn't suit my personality @ all. I just ordered this lil # for cyber monday, it's not exactly unconventional but it def stands out. i'll let you know how it works out!!

I think this, like everything, depends on the club. I work at a club where the young, girl-next-door look is pretty popular. Many of the girls who fit this look will wear minimal to no makeup, and leave their hair up in ponytails. I often see girls on stage in nothing but a tank top, or sometimes full on street clothes (jeans!) with stripper shoes.

I actually have a (kinda) funny story about this. One night I had my hair done all cute, and was wearing a cute bra with matching thong. It was towards the end of the night and I wasn't having much luck and was worn out from the night. I said "fuck it" and went and put on my tank top I'd worn in the club and put my hair in a ponytail so that when the club closed I could be that much closer to getting the fuck home. I went back on the floor, and 5 seconds later a guy approached me and asked me for a dance. He was the last guy I'd tried to get a dance from before I went to change, and he didn't even realize I was the same girl. After all the work I did to look extra "cute" that night, I couldn't help but think to myself, "This is it?? This is the look you've been waiting for?? Ponytail and tank top???" Men are funny.

yes I have tried experimenting. a few guys (like that guy that brought it up to you) will fawn over my outfit and say stuff like "I don't know why more girls don't dress like you." then when I wear something basic I make way more money.

I used to bank as a school girl on weekends at one of my old clubs, with a real button-up/polo, cross, pigtails, plaid skirt. Men always complimented the fact that the look was "authentic" due to the real button-up instead of the lycra front-ties. I thought it was hilarious that it mattered though, personally.

Now I work in a gown club and they'd be like... No.

Mini-dresses work really well for me. Most girls at my club wear tiny bikinis. I think that customers like a little covering-up... or, anything that's just slightly different from what most other girls do, shows that you have some personality. Also, one of the plusses of mini-dresses is that they blur the line between "stripper" and "regular hot girl at regular night club," and getting a lap dance from a non-stripper is totally a fantasy-within-a-fantasy.

Me too, and I'm not even Asian. The other day a customer told me that he "likes the secret" behind the dress.

As far as creative outfit ideas go, I've definitely thought about doing the top hat thing. Depending on where I work and if I work around St. Paddy's day next year, I was thinking about donning this:
    http://www.awise.org/files/productsi...BS_C/32323.jpg

Other than that I've seen other girls doing some pretty cool stuff. One girl I worked with had the pleaser treasure chest shoes.http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/0/9/8...95604397_o.jpg
She put light up balls in them which always lit when she walked.

There was another girl I worked with who makes her own outfits by cutting up sequin pants and shirts, and sometimes she changes into a stripper outfit and wears a cape. She pulls this off really well.

One time I wore a simple black tank top on stage. I forgot the reason why I did that since I'm usually wearing stripper gear, but I probably didn't give a darn that day. The guys loved it. They were even saying how sexy I looked in "that little black dress" lol.

Almost forgot to add, there was another day where I was having a bad day at work. It was an hour before closing time when I decided to take a break and hang out on the floor with my sweater. I wasn't really doing anything except talking to a couple of the customers. Suddenly, guys started approaching me for lapdances. Apparently they wanted to know why I was wearing a sweater and they wanted to see what was underneath.

I felt like that by doing this, maybe I gave the appearance of being laid back since I know some guys don't want to be hustled into dances and made me look more approachable. And also to see what was under my sweater.

Because its so cold in my club lately I bought a long black silk gown that pretty much cover up everything, I wear lingerie and stockings and all that underneath...I have been taking the gown off while approaching customers but after reading this I will try keeping it closed tonight to see if it makes a difference thanks for the idea x

I've had this too, and more than once!. On a night when I couldn't get a dance to save myself. I just want to get out as fast as I could, had to do one more poduim before i was allowed to leave. I threw on my track pants, and a tank top so all I had to do was swap my stilettos for sneakers and get out. Blow me down if i didn't have 3 guys come up and book me for a dance when i finished my podium. Caught me way off guard the first time because I had my daggy undies on too!

Back on subject I've seen a lot of girls do well in the mens shirt, I've even seen a few girls do well wearing a "normal" summer dress clothes, though i suspect they have the guys thinking they are customers and can get them home for the night. Honestly, though I really think what you wear makes no difference except for maybe improving how you feel and therefore how you project yourself.

I don't think I'll ever consider dancing in briefs or a top hat, but lately I have been trying to get a little more creative with outfits. Now that I've been dancing for about a year and a half I've developed a "stripper persona" and my attire usually involves a g-strong or lingerie type thong with a pretty Victoria's Secret bra. But lately I've added thigh-highs to my to my stripper wardrobe and I probably wear them about every-other night. I get lots of compliments. I have two black pairs and a white pair (the white is really sexy and girls don't wear white thigh-highs as much). I bought a garter belt to go with my black thigh highs and wear it with a Victoria's Secret bra and THAT is a money-maker. My first night wearing the garter belt I made over 1000 (and that's being a clean non-extras girl in a city where extras are very common, at a club where there's no champagne room and girls will blow custos for $80).

Oh this is a good thread! I feel like I get noticed more / do better when I wore a plan mini tube dress. I've got bored of them though and got some nice underwear... I have a lacey mini dress but the doesn't seem to have the same effect at the plain one I wanna get a red lace one but if they like the bland look it seems a waste of money. Maybe plain material but halternet or something to make a change from the tube style.

I'd like to try the men's shirt thing, but i felt invisible when i went full on french knickers-fishnet stickings and suspenders for the school girl theme night. Maybe I look too young for the sultry lingerie look, hmm.

I had one customer tell me he LOVES floor length gowns but those things are so freaking annoying to dance with and they get ruined! I make the most money with lace . Doesn't matter what color but lace stockings with a lace dress has been my best look so far

I have a native American headdress and a microsuede bikini that I bust out once in a while if I need a little boost in my mood/confidence. It gets guys on the tip rail and talking about how fun, hot, original, ballsy etc. I am. Sometimes you just need that little break in your routine to get noticed.

I think the best outfits are the non stripper clothes but WITH stripper shoes i.e. a short white sundress...makes you look innocent but the shoes are naughty...totally hot!! I knew a girl who used to always wear a denim vest. I hate vests but she rocked it with a g-string and 7 inch platforms! In my experience dancing the ones who STAND OUT make money unless you have a shitty attitude. Most of the girls in my club wear bikinis and fishnet dresses occasionally a corset and you'll barely ever see a pair of stockings or a garter belt which is why I wear them ALL the time.

    Screw the normal outfits!
