I did the superwoman while waitin outside my friends place on Mardi gras & it totally deflected all drunks. Theyd come bounding by like golden retrievers all ready to "wooo hoo" & then would just smile & keep moving on. This shit is Gold.

That seems to be a moving power position.I'm just not sure of what would be a good position for sitting with custies...how to look confident and sexy, but not weird?
I loved this video. I do the wonder woman pose almost every time I'm in the back taking a break now. Anyhow, i just wanted to reply with some power poses ive started using while Working the floor that don't seem out of place: when sitting open your arms/arm towards them-you can rest your hand outstretched on a table, a chair, a shoulder ect. Also if I lean down to talk to them I put my hands on a table and lean forward or outstretch my arms to the sides by grabbing the backs of chairs. Standing with one or both hands on hips but shifting the weight to one side looks sort of sexy too.

Felt the need to bump this because I'm about to travel off to my upscale club and have been in a non-stripper-related funk - hoping would give me a boost and maybe someone else out there. I have to admit that throughout the whole thing I kept thinking "Damn, someone get that woman a glass of water already!".

Honestly though, interesting thread/vid. I'm going to do my 2 minute pose right now and keep this on my mind over the weekend!

    First off, thanks for posting!
I have to admit, I can sometimes be a bit of a skeptic. I watched the video but the whole time I was kinda thinking "yeah, yeah, it probably only works if you believe..." But then I thought "what the hey, won't take up more than a few minutes of my time anyway, and it's not like i'm up to anything more useful, so why not."
So I did it - I stood in front of the mirror in the "wonder-woman" pose. At first I felt rather silly. But as the seconds ticked by, the silliness gave way to something else. I started to feel, I guess powerful. Like a conquering warrior or something. I think even the expression on my face changed, became more confident.
I am now convinced that this works. Try it! even if you're a skeptic, try it.

I watched the video and turned the tv on amd am old movie with Carmen Miranda was on. She uses a lot of power positions. Lol. Hand in the air majority of the time. I think she's super sexy and confident.

I do think body language is very important. It's something I've been working on and I think it's a confidence boosters as it makes you appeal more to the customers.

Great TED talk! Thanks! Can you imagine if every woman on earth did the Wonder Woman pose at once? I think we'd finally have the males of the world all bow down before us, and they would finally stop the wars and the nature-conquering. Haha....don't want to go off on a tangent, sorry.
