so, i've always been a vegetarian, and i'm usually healthier when i'm vegan. over the past 6 months i've gained a ton of weight (i took a break from dancing, boooo!) and now that I'm going back I'd like to lose it all again. so my problem is, i've been eating clean for two weeks now and i just don't seem to be losing as much weight as a should be, and i'm wondering if this is because my diet is too high in carbs. a lot of the meals i have revolve around things like oatmeal, sweet potato, chickpeas, other beans, etc.....do you think that it's possible to eat somewhat low carb and stay vegan, or am i dreaming? i've been eating tofu but i don't want to eat a ton because my estrogen levels are already too high and i've heard that doesn't help. ughhh, i just want to be skinny again! anyways, thanks in advance ladies!
