Last night at work during the afternoon around five, I arrived at work with a friend and we waited at the bar for work to pick up. Next to us in bottle service was one guy with three girls. A song came on that he enjoyed and he began singing and dancing, and saw me and my friend and invited us over. Poured us drinks, and didn't hesitate to give us both $100 right as we sat down to join him. I was soon called to stage and he leaned over to me and said "Please come back when you're off stage." I smiled, did my stage set, and went back to the bottle service. As soon as I was done, my friend went up, and the three original girls began to start whispering and throwing dirty looks. I could tell that they didn't necessarily want the extra company. But the man who tipped me $100 and asked my to stay wins in this case. They continued to snicker, and two of the girls rudely told him to scoot over so they could have him between them and away from me.
I just smiled, sipped my drink and pretended to have a good time as usual. One of the girls, whom is fairly new because I have been working at my current club for 2 years and never seen before, made a rude comment towards me and my friend. She said, loud enough to where I could hear, "I thought you said you didn't want and caddy bitches over here?" Obviously this was an insult directed towards me.. So I thought about it for a second, and the vodka shots decided that I should confront her.
I leaned in toward the group that I had so rudely been pushed out of, looked at the new girl and said "Excuse me, I know that you three were here first, and I am in no way trying to knock your hustle, but it is never, EVER, okay to call another girl a CADDY BITCH. We are sisters here, and we are in a very classy club, that is never okay!" The new girl was quick to say "OH, NO!!! NO THAT WASN'T DIRECTED TOWARDS YOU!!" Okay, whatever, yes it was...
The customer got upset because of the drama that had been started, stormed out, and soon came back in, and I just left the area to avoid any further drama. The club manager pulled me aside later and asked me what happened and I explained myself. I know I should have probably just shrugged it off, but I have done my time in my club and I don't deserve to be talked to like that! What would you have done in this situation? Do you think these are grounds for firing? (starting drama at work?)
