Would something like this be ok in a club where thongs are worn?

Or maybe an underbust corset like this one?

ETA: I got the high waist panties. Go to the next page to look.

Underbust corsets are pretty popular, so you should be fine with that. I'm personally not a fan of high-waist panties, but they can look alright on certain body types.

i love corsets!! they really slim the waist and push up the boobs , but the highwaisted thongs.. I'm gonna have to agree with shannadior on this , they only seem to make the butt look long and flat whereas the ones that come down lower make it look fuller and perkier plus highwaisted ones bring me back to the 90s..but to each her own

^My butt is very large (very, very large), so I guess they'll make it look normal? lol
Eh, not necessarily. Simone is right about them making your butt look long and flat, and that's generally not a flattering look. Is your very large butt nice? If so, rock the thongs to play it up. I'm going to assume it isn't if you want to cover it up with panties though, so I recommend getting a mini skirt with a thong underneath. That way it's still covered so you won't be self conscious about it, but in a much cuter way.
I hate high cut thongs, they definitely do make your butt look long and flat. High waisted thongs are something that can very easily go very, very wrong. The proportions are odd, and they end up looking like granny panties in the front. To me, it is the mullet of underwear, business in front party in back.
I do think they can be done alright though, If there is a block in the pattern so it almost looks like two pieces such as this one.

So, something like this one would do?

It still pretty nice and firm, though, but I also need to cover my low abdominal area for some of the stretch marks hadn't faded (the ones in the rest of the body are no longer visible to the naked eye since they are very thin and short). That's the main reason of getting a high waist thong or an underbust corset.

^I don't think they'll be visible on stage but I'd feel embarrassed about them while giving a closer dance (eg. table, lap, VIP/CR, etc), but it'll be good idea to cover them up for auditioning. After that, then I guess I could try to cover them less (I had known hiring managers that like to check dancers in their office for those things).

What about makeup ? Would tat coverup cover stretch marks?
I know you said you were looking for a mid-tier club, and for the area you're interested in working in (DFW?), a few stretch marks = no big deal. It seems that a lot of times when you try to conceal something, it just makes people home in on it. I say just don't worry about it.
However, if you're bent on wearing something, I'd skip the high-waisted thong (due to unflattering butt issues mentioned above - it's a hard look to pull off for most) and opt for the underbust corset.
You can look into cute waist cinchers too. If you aren't totally confident yet see if you can work the door.

I'm going to say "no" on both...

I used to wear corsets and little skirts and thongs at 1 point, it used to look good and my tummy was always covered.
xoxo

I'll try both and then post pics with both the thong and the corset once they arrive. I'll give it a try to the DFW in a few more months. Austin is much closer for now (40 minutes from home, versus over 2 and 1/2 hours); it'll give me time to get even thinner and have a closer eye to my son. I can't wait to dance at DFW.
Those are some awesome ides!!!!

I've seen gals wear thong teddies and just pop out the tatas when they dance for the first few dances with a guy... It's a great tummy cover-up, whether you have stretch marks or period bloat. Underbust corsets need to be fitted for you, as with regular corsets. The bruises from wearing ones not custom fitted are atrocious-- I get bruises on my floating ribs that look really gross and last for weeks if I wear my corset too long. Also, the fat squeezed out from a corset=not cute up close.. sure that happens when you tie too tight, but it happens from time to time. Once again, this happens more often when the corset isn't custom.
The high-waisted undies are such a hit and miss that I'd suggest only wearing one if you get a few guys you trust to look at it and approve.
Also, teddies are super affordable.

^I did know that about corsets. I emailed the manufacturer my measurements (hips, waist, underbust, and torso) precisely for all the reasons you mentioned above.
Thanks for mentioning a teddy; never thought about them.

U could always wear a short black dress to wear as a cover up..or get it in several colors..They disguise extra pounds until u can burn them off..

^I actually have

Most of my extra weight is in my thighs, but my midsection sure needs more toning and that does take a bit of time (fortunately I don't have loose skin nor a gut) and I was also considering doing that. I have this dress in here in seven different colors, so I'll try this idea as well (black, white, red, blue, pink, yellow, and green).

I wear the high waisted undies or thongs (custom made) I'm curvy & my tummy is a problem until I burn it off & men actual like it. I guess it depends on your shape.
