    Midland, TX is such a shithole. Maybe that's why they have money, they gotta pay people to live there!

    I've never been to Midland. Lived in Austin 8 years and loved it though. Employment was a bit harder as there were so many UT grads who wanted to stay in such a cool town. But at least it was WARM there...

    Major cities in Texas are nice. The rest is kind if barren. I'm in the middle if nowhere Texas semi-often since my father-in-law lives about an hour an a half east of Corpus, and my husband and I always joke about "going back in time to see dad".

    At least there's Dairy Queen and Whataburger.

    Burlington VT is fairly nice place (as freezing your nads off in the winter kinda places go...) but I'd have to be damn near starving to live in any of those places. There's work there because no one wants to live there!

    maybe because the only reason to stay in these places is if you have a job.......

    If you are in Fargo and you dont have a job.....time to not have a job somewhere else.
