Default Can anybody recommend fine line treatments?

Either surgical/cosmetic procedure or creams etc?
I have a few visible fine lines just appearing around my eyes. I got really paranoid about them when I first noticed but, I've since been scrutinising other girls I know and many of them even those younger than I am, have worse ones-so I think I'm worrying unduly for now!
BUT I want to make sure they don't get any worse at least slow down the process , or try some preventative measures.

Has anybody had anything be successful, or heard any recommendations?

    Thanks!

Retinoids are great for fine lines. I get lines around my eyes (at only 22!) because I'm a serious side and stomach sleeper, so I habitually smash my face into my pillow I've been using generic Retin A since this past summer and they've improved dramatically. I just apply a very thin layer, since Retin A can be rough on skin. There are many OTC creams with retinoids in them at places like Sally's, Walgreens, Target, Walmart, etc, if you don't want to go to a dermatologist for the prescription. Bosica's Enlivening Amino-AG Eye Treatment is a good daytime option, since retinoids don't do well in the light. You really do have to consistently wear both products to see the best results. Also, you have to treat yourself delicately. Applying and removing eye makeup can do some real damage over time if you aren't careful. And make sure to drink plenty of water and wear sunblock!

I imagine I will get injections by 25-27, but I'm a little neurotic about my skin, so I may not be the voice of reason on the matter.

Castor oil. After about 6 months I noticed a HUGE difference.

Thanks so much both for the replies!
I know it's not solely an age thing, which sucks -I have a friend who is 24 whose lines are pretty bad.

I do wear suncream daily and have since I was very young (like, 12!)and I don't use anything harsh on my face, as far as I know. I take make up off using vegetable oil.
I feel a lot better now, I am likely to try both methods and see what feels best for me
    Thanks again!

Drink tons of water, try hydrating masks like a collegen mask from an esthetitcian, always wear sunscreen (90% of wrinkles are preventable!) a sculpting treatment might be helpful on crows feet too.

My esthetics teacher warns me about retin a, microdermabrasion, saying what we do now will catch up with us later. I believe this theory. Also consider if you're using retin a you can't go out in the sun, must wear sunscreen, can't get waxed and receive a majority of treatments. Please always inform anyone working on you're skin you are taking or have taken it within the last 6 months.

Can't you still use sugar wax with Retin A?

I used Atralin for about a year, and was told that even sugar wax shouldn't be used because retin a thins your top layer of skin, which makes it susceptible to tearing from the wax pulling on the skin.

Yes, start getting chemical peels as often as needed, get a full fraxel laser done (ur medspa will know what this is) Then get great skin products I prefer Janmarini or neocutis. they use fetal cells in there lotion&it plums ur skin plus u feel the lotion penetrate ur skin as it should when u put it on its so moisturizing I love this stuff. Oh yea&wear a moisturizer w sunblock in it neocutis has a tinted one.

It might just be dehydration. Otherwise, if you're already caring for your skin well, it may just be genetics.
