I thought this thread would be a good idea to help keep us girls in optimum health throughout the wintery months!
Did you know that a big reason flu is so common during Winter is due to the fact that people stay indoors more, thus helping germs spread between people more easily? I figured that because we, more than any other sex worker, stay in our homes / bedrooms to do our jobs, this thread would be best suited for our section.
Here are some ways I am helping prevent myself from getting ill this Winter. Of course feel free to add your tips and advice! :3
- Frequently wash your hands.
I wash mine after having gone out somewhere, (touching the buttons / screen on ATM machines, handling cash / touching cashiers hands, touching escalator rails, all have a lot of germs because they are touched so many times a day), and of course after having used the toilet. Below is a picture of how best to wash your hands. I know it looks stupidly complex the first time you see this, (it did to me anyhow!), but it becomes completely 2nd nature after a while, and it's hella worth it because just doing this goes a long way in helping you stay flu-free!![]()
Something that should be noted however, is that excessive use of anti-bacterial hand washes can actually be damaging in the long run because the natural helpful bacteria on our hands actually helps prevent illnesses by it's very nature. So basically, we want to make sure we just don't over-do the use of those anti-bacteria washes.
- Drink green tea.
I drink at least 3 cups of pure green tea a day, because it's not only extremely good for you, but it also helps calm anxiety, nerves and worry. I feel distinctly calmer after even so much as my first sip. <3 The purer the green tea the better, although if you absolutely hate the taste, you can get green teas with additional flavours like fruits or honey to take the edge off.
- Eat 5 portions of fruit & veg a day.
I'm a huge fan of oranges, bananas, broccoli and berries in particular. If you find this hard, also keep a look out for other foods (like ravioli!) that have tomato sauces in - that also counts!
- Keep a stash of meds / lemsips / vapour rubs etc close at hand for if you do catch flu.
There's nothing worse than being ill and having to venture out in the cold, wild, rain or snow to get this shit, and coming home feeling even worse.

I play this almost every night before I go to sleep and it never fails to help relax me when I concentrate on the sounds.



(an antibiotic that zaps flu out of Your system), to have on hand- I wear surgical latex gloves when I leave my apt., airborne (the gumdrop kind everyday),- I NEVER shake anyone's hand, no matter whether it's flu season, or not. EWW-Gross! 
(my dr. was out of town for his summer vacation, so I couln't even get the z-pack.)- I only took 2 days off from camming, and would take-'barf breaks', just so I could get through camming and make my money.
