Default "Mystery Tips" for lack of a better term?

I'm new so please excuse the dumb question. Here goes...I noticed when I was dancing that several times a waitress came passed by my stage and quickly dropped a wad of singles down. She smiled and walked away.Where are these tips coming from? My best guess is that they are from guys at the bar. Perhaps they asked her to hand them to me. But in that case, why didn't the guy(s) just come up to my stage like other people? Are they just being polite or are they hoping I'll approach them when I get off stage?I didn't notice any guys at the bar eyeing me but I could be wrong.Thoughts??

The waitress may like you and those are pay it forward tips. The waitress may like you and asked the customer she is sitting with to tip you--They both might like you! If it is one of the latter you need to go over to the table she got the money from, say thank you and see if he wants a dance or company. Are you new? Do you suck? <--serious!

Haha omg now I feel so slow. I wanted to ask the waitress but she moves fast and it can be hard to find her. Next time I see her I will thank her, tip her, and ask her about guys at the bar. Also, if I don't notice my mystery admirer I guess I'll just have to talk to a few of the guys at the bar and see who likes me. I feel like I'm hunting someone down..must be shy haha. But its possible the waitress is heavily involved and wants pay it forward tips. She's great and I will hunt her down too

It's a little harsh to ask the OP if she sucks because she doesn't know about these mystery tips. I'd be pretty confused too, especially if I was a new dancer.

OP - don't tip the waitress for tipping you. Next time she tips you on stage, ask her who it's coming from before she leaves. If it's happening regularly, just ask her next time you see her in the bar. It likely is a customer who is having her tip you for him, rather than her wanting you to tip her in the future.

Sometimes customers don't want to be approached so they sit at the bar but will send over a tip because they appreciate your stage. Sometimees they don't want to tip everyone either.

See, I'm already getting mixed opinions. I'm new but I can't suck that much..its not clear what's going on. At the very least I think its worth going over to the bar, finding the guy, and saying thanks. If he doesn't want to be approached I may be able to tell from his body language. However, its also possible he's shy and wants me to approach him.

^Don't worry so much about this. Seriously, just ask the waitress what's up. No sense in hunting around and asking customers if they sent the waitress up with a tip for you.

Thanks guys...I'm rather curious at this point too. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I'll ask the waitress and unravel the mystery

Most likely a customer gave the waitress singles to tip you with hoping to get a cheap girl-on-girl show. She was smiling because she did what he said, but not what he implied, and therefore "won" one tiny customer interaction.

Well she kept coming back. So it was more than one interaction. If you call that an interaction...all she did was throw them on stage real quick and smile. There was a real interaction b/t me and a female custie...well, not too intense. Just me putting my heels over her shoulders, etc.
