    Default VIP's Chicago??

Would a relatively green dancer currently do ok here? Is a stellar stage performance a must here? Although I never worked at a high end club, I really want to try this place for a variety of reasons, location, etc. I plan to work whatever their earliest shift is.

I filled out the online job application, but would I have a better chance of getting hired if I just walked in asking for a job? I figured I could also try waitressing or being a door girl in the event my dancing isn't up to par, if it made "decent" money. Like, enough to live on.

I've trsveled in to work here since 99. I haven't been back since 2010 but it's one of my favorite clubs in the country. No you don't have to be a good stage performer, at most high end clubs guys could csre less about the stage. I would not apply on line for any club! They want to see you in person ( especially a club as picky as them) I only worked during huge conventions but here and Denver are the two easiest clubs to make bigggg money! It's really about conversational skills here and how pretty and polished you are because there's no contact so they are basically paying you 500 an hour to sit and talk. Anyways go in but keep in mind convention times are the best and it's changed a bit since they started making us wear full bottoms and latex on the whole entire boob( hurts like hell after a few shifts) good luck!

Found this, it's a bit older thread, but I think it still applies: http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sho...ht=VIP+Chicago

I'm coming from a place where dances are full contact grindage, so I'm gonna feel like a fish outta water with selling and performing! But it's time to move on from what I've been doing, so I'll go in there after X-Mas to apply. Not like there's much other choices around Chicago, the next place I was gonna try would be Club 390.

Ankle-length, non-sheer, no mid-drift showing gowns? Oh boy looks like 3 of the 4 expensive ass gowns I bought I won't even be able to wear there! That blows. But the one does have a slit going up one leg, I guess that makes it a no-go too huh?

All my gowns have slits up the front and they were ok.
