Default How 'Free' is the VIP Market?

I've never been to VIP/champagne rooms. But with lap dances (in the clubs I've been to) they are a fixed price per song ($10, $20, $30, etc.), occasionally a dancer can charge more (+$5, +$10) and still sell dances. But from what I understand, the bottle/house rate is fixed, but dancers can charge whatever per VIP hour. My question is how close do dancers in one club charge? If a dancer charges half the average rate, does she catch heat?
Nope silly, its just a persona that entertains the masses, yourself included. - KS_Stevia

Yes she sure would if you could even find one willing to.

I've seen dancers get fired for doing this if enough girls complained about it to management. If they happened to be giving hand jobs at the discounted rate getting canned was pretty much a sure thing...

So, when you start a club do they tell you a VIP rate? Management has always told me it was up to the dancer. Last night, a dancer sold her 1st VIP and got 2x the bottle rate, so I thought she did well. The only quote I can remember be given for VIP was $100, when the bottle to get in cost $250. I thought it was a shame someone would spend more on the bottle than the dancer. So, $500 on another $250 bottle sounded good to me, but maybe that is normal?

It really really really varies by club. Some clubs have a fixed VIP cost and girls can't charge more (though that won't stop them for asking for tips or even saying they don't get a cut of the room to get a higher one) while others have a minimum fee for the room and then it's up to the girl to negotiate the rate for her time, though even then there's often a general range that girls tend to charge within, unless of course they're doing something "more." There's really no standard for how VIP is priced throughout the world, country, or even city.

Doc, what Shanna said. I'll just add that you can often figure it out simply by who you pay the bulk of the money to. In fixed rate situations, the club often collects the full amount and then kicks a piece back to the dancer. In more flexible situations, you pay a minimum room fee to the club and give the rest directly to the dancer. Having said all of this, there are other variations on these rules of thumb as well.

It is certainly possible to negotiate in the more flexible situations, but the question when you do so is: How much do you really want to push it? You can always find a girl who is having a bad night and willing to sell her time at a discount, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I for one have no interest in going back with a girl who is feeling resentful because I squeezed her on the money front. In fact, if I liked her enough to take her back to VIP, then - dog that I am - I would much rather she be thinking about how she may earn additional money from me.

    Anyway, just my

Ive seen girls get fired for both undercharging and overcharging (significantly) much faster than those who get fired for drugs or extras. most of the clubs ive worked in have a fixed price so its a big deal.
