    Default feeling sad, mad, anxious or just sore from last night?

    Hi ladies, I had to get a new username on here but I am not new to sw I wanted to share with everyone how awesome I feel this morning! I had a stress-filled week with christmas and a long shift last night and am also recovering from a crappy cold.
    For shits I tried a yoga routine because I was having trouble sleeping and was so sore from last night. I did 20 minutes of deep yoga streching that I found on youtube and I cannot discribe how much better I feel! I feel mentally calm and collected and physically sosososo much better!
    I know most of us workout regularly to stay in shape, as do I, but for anyone out there who has not tried yoga yet, it may seem a little cheesey but I really feel 100x better!!! Hope this post will inspire some of you to try a quick routine out there, and for those of you who have been doing yoga regularly, I would love if you would share your experience with it!!!

    nice! i really want to take yoga I've just been so stressed and busy i haven't thought about it again til i saw this post! I think I'm going to check out a yoga place tomorrow thanks for reminding me it sounds like what I'm needing really badly about now. i have troubles sleeping even though I'm physically exhausted I'm hoping yoga will help with that

    That is so awesome to hear!! It's amazing how your knees can kill all week long, even after avoiding kneeling, as well as the whole rest of your body. Bikram yoga helps so much tho it's def not as conveniant as watching a youtube clip tho, wow I'm curious...which clip was it?

    is the segment I did. At first I tried doing a Jillian Michals Fat Burning workout, HUGE mistake for relaxation lol. I have to say I was much looser at work on Friday night and had a lot less cracking in my joints. However, I do feel the need to report that I think I over streched my glutes! They are a little sore. But there are a lot of youtube vidios like this. My area does not have any convinient yoga studios, and my gym only offers high-impact classes, that's why I turned to youtube.
