    Default Members Site?

I feel like I'm finally at the point where I can start a site, I have lots of regulars, I'm recognized and spread out across multiple sites, I know how to drive my own traffic. I'm looking to spend about $1,500-$2,000 tops. So I just need a members site built. I'm not that website savvy as far as creating and coding goes, so I'd need a good, easy to use back-end admin panel.

Does anyone have any recommendations for web designers?

I like Tee from DesignHustle, BB. I am not sure how crazy of a site you need but look into it. Tell her you are my bb (she knows me as my real name).

I haven't used them but I was looking at the companies below. I've seen a couple of models from various genres (porn, camming, domination) use some of these companies and their sites turned out nice.

It doesn't cost $2k or even $1k to have someone build you an amazing member site. Don't let the designers out there fool you. Check out www.myadultdesign.com Loreen is amazing, has a great portfolio, and is quick and very reasonably priced. She can build a hot looking member site for you for under $300. Tee is also awesome but you can get the same quality for a much cheaper rate. I know a few people who were with her before she went up in price and I was shocked at how much she went up. No knocking, just saying.

Just make sure you constantly update. To me, member sites are a thing of the past because so many guys can search for quick, free content. Now, I'm not saying that those with member sites don't make money, it just seems to be a dying thing to pay for unlimited content. I would personally have a site built, and sell my exclusive content and have guys pay you independently. More money in my opinion and you can resell the clips and such on c4s or individually.

RT was not professional to me. Like their customer service (not getting back to me, etc.). I would recommend blue design and also xxxmediadesign, but have not used either. Just their designs are great. Villaness seems to just be good for a basic site (not a paysite). $3,500+ for something good though.

Keep in mind, half the paysites you see out there were built for free by a company who scouted the girl, and she gets like 30-50% of the profits. What they also don't tell you is, many of them own the rights to your name, so if you walk away, you have to change your name and never use it again. Don't go with one of these anyway. Its cheaper at first, but you'll make more $$$ in the long run with one you've put $$$ into upfront & own/control all of the content.

I think the cost ends up being so much because you are paying for so many things. You are paying for the splash page (graphic design), the content management system inside, security, accepting credit cards, things like that, so it adds up. The CMS alone is going to cost a few hundred just to get it right? How can she charge just a few hundred for the whole thing?

Check out her work and ask for a quote. You're mainly just paying for graphic design imho. All of the designers I've ever dealt with handle the complete HTML and leave the rest for me. I've had work done www.phoneateen.com done with the splash page included for like, $100. I leave my security, backend, and credit/debit transactions to myself. I use a 3rd party biller for that. The guys can also fill in their own info. I'm not a price shopper by any means, and I feel that designers should definitely get what they ask for. People are willing to pay whatever, but there are also a lot of designers who are overlooked who do amazing, professional work who aren't going to ask for $1k, not to mention a lot of jobs out there only take up to 3 days. So besides design, you're paying for their time.

They even offer a "pay as you go" rate. He had a special going on for $150 for a 2 page HTML full site or WP installation and it looks more professional than most of the competition's web pages in my vanilla industry.

    I do them!
You might wanna contact me directly though on here. I've done a few member/hub sites for camgirls. I specialize in actual graphic design and creative content development and focus on front end development. I could definitely make something within your price range or less depending on what you are looking for. I offer free consults on skype so PM me on here for that info.

For setting things up I use GoDaddy for both domain and hosting and have never had a problem.

The link in my sig is a good place for my portfolio but the contact info on there is not correct.

@LolaBohemia- Love your designs^. I've been looking for someone to spruce up my MFC page for over a year now. Every time I attempt to update or change something it really looks like a 2 yr old stumbled over a box of crayons. Would you mind terribly if I post your link on another forum and another site??? Models that are on MFC always complain about not having an epic enough profile.Ohh and Niteflirt is another place that uggg profile looks just lame.

If I were starting out, I would become a VNA girl. She has a built in traffic & media empire. All the girls do content sharing, adding in some major branding that has already been done. Vickie Vett has also opened up where you can add cam shows to your site where or not you become a VNA girl. I've done shows with Angelina Castro on it, fun & awesome how Vickie has set it up. I do admire how Vickie & all the VNA girls promote eachother. Got to give those girls props.

CCBilling has temptlets to build out an adult site & since they are also a payment processor you are golden with them & dont need a webmaster.

Webmasters are fickled & tricky. Most can NOT deliver or finish a product. I find most solo girl sites cookie cutter & out dated design wise for the most part to be honest.( Even Vickies) I love my webmaster, but he will NEVER take on another solo model site he was burned by other models badly by them not get him fresh new content (Brandy Taylor, Desire Divine, & another model who didn't show her face)

Also there is a company www.Adultcentro.com that you can easily build out your own site & get it hosted for about $100 a month.

Invest into your content. You need about 20 good scenes to start off with. Streamate has a program to do sites with them too, although you only get 35% of the sales still.

There are many ways these days to do it. Your options are limitless.

Beware of men who say they are webmasters, they want sex & money & fail to do the job right. Seen many girls get ripped off by those types.

If you ever want to do a content trade, I would love to work with you.

P.S If you go with CCBilling as a payment processor you will need that $1000 for ViSA. VISA requires a major deposit & 1/2 of that yearly. Don't forget to take that into consideration. But CCBILLING has years of blacklist of those who try to scam their way out of doing chargebacks.

Also NEVER ever give out passwords to friends or men, EVER. They will give it out to EVERYONE!

    Good Luck,

Sensational video aka www.Plumperpass.com does my pay site. I am their one & only contract model. Over the years I've helped them build their brand & found them models to shoot, locations & directors for their sites. They would have not been in the bbw niche if it wasn't for me. Our business relationship goes way beyond just me being a model & them a webmaster.
    I
Been in porn 13 years. Took me 7 years to find the right business partner & webmaster. I did plenty of research, also I have contracts which keeps everything spelled out. Being a control freak, I know where he lives & his offices, I know I am always going to get paid.

My business partner & I started out at the same time & were friends way before I did my site with him.

Today, there are many ways for a girl to do it without a "webmaster".

    Good Luck,
    Sam

Why not just sell your content as individually downloadable items instead of messing with a member site? I've done the member thing and it wasn't profitable enough to justify all the extra work required plus it was a cheap way for content thieves to download a truckload of my stuff then do a chargeback (stealing my content) and post it on all the pirate forums. I finally scrapped the member thing and now will only sell my content piece by piece. I make a lot more money and have less pirated content. It still gets pirated some, but at least the assholes aren't mass-downloading it from a members area. I at least get paid more for it. LOL

Some guys like buying individual clips only, some only like membership sites.

I don't care if "some" guys only want to buy through a member site - those are the cheap fucks and I don't cater to cheap fucks. More importantly, like I said in my experience the membership thing was mostly a way for the thieves to mass-download my stuff then spread it all over the pirate forums for free. No thanks. I make a lot more money by NOT offering my stuff on a membership site and only selling per item. My content income went way up when I stopped offering the membership thing.

This does not mean guys can't contact me directly and get custom items. This happens on the daily. That's why I have my email, skype, yahoo available on my websites, and my email posted for custom requests on my c4s stores.

Of course everyone can do what they want and try it all for themselves.

^ That reason had made me on the fence for a long time. But last night I found some of my clips being shared on a forum - it was the first time I've found my stuff pirated (I'm sure I've already been) and then I imagined if I had a members site. Ack. lol So it sealed the deal on me *not* making a members site. I'll make a blog or something, lol.

You can still post all your videos for sale on a clip site and put previews to them on your own site, and link to them on the clip site. For example, clips4sale will let you generate a "buy now" link for each video, so you can still feature them on your site and send customers directly to the purchase link on c4s. Or whatever clip site you use. It's a good way to 1) keep fresh relevant content on your own site which is good for SEO and 2) promote yourself and your videos.

I hate pirates. I'll be damned if I make it easy for the fuckers to steal my stuff. You know some of these fucksticks are making money off it too via affiliate commissions to the download sites they upload to, right? Fucking bottom feeders.
