Hey alls!
I am looking for some really nice, intensive moisturizers for either face or body. Preferably that smell nice too!
If any of you ladies have any recommendations, I'd love to hear what you use or have had good experiences with.![]()

I love Bliss Lemon Sage Body Butter. If you go to Nordstrom Rack you can buy the super sized for only $16.97, it is usually much pricier. I adore this lotion. It is my favorite smell.

Cerave.

Aveeno is good

burt's bees night cream. smells amazing and its intensive but gentle and naural. or just plain olive or avacado oil..ive been using them both and not a wrinkle in sight anywhere!

Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizer is good for the face and comes in a gel or lotion for either oily or dry skin. Hempz has a lot of great smelling body lotions, especially Vanilla Plum, and they're very moisturizing. Aveeno generally has clean scents and they're good products, both face and body. Palmer's cocoa butter for the body only.
Additionally, Cerave face wash is great for winter.

Oilatum ? spell? is very good face cream.

Shea Butter. I buy a tub ($5 or so) and I can use it on my lips, hands, feet, and body. It lasts about 2 months. https://www.google.com/shopping/prod...d=0CKUBEPMCMAQ
Other than that.... Lush massage bars are MOISTURIZING to the max! http://www.lushusa.com/Massage-Bars/...,en_US,sc.html

Honorable mention (probably for body only) http://www.drugstore.com/vaseline-in...1?catid=182929

Olive oil- not just for salad dressing lol its also a great all natural eye make up remover!
Vaseline on the hands and feet during the dry winter months helps prevent cracking. My ex-mother in law lived in northern Illinois where it would get super duper cold, used to apply loads of Vaseline to the hands and feet before bed, and then put on cotton mitts and socks. Worked for her ; )

There's a Japanese company, with skin care based on olive oil, for the life of me, can't think of their name..they will send you a catalog w/free samples I have used olive oil on my hair ends, & hands/cuticles.
Also, I hear great things about L'Occitone, it has shea butter.

Probably not the same Japanese company the above poster was referencing, but I got Yube (http://www.yu-be.com/)as a sample with a Sephora order forever ago, and it's a great intense softener for lips, elbows, heels. I've also used Bag Balm (the giant one container from Walgreens) with much success. They both have a tendency to get ya hooked, like chapstick- you know, you almost feel like you have to use it again the next day or you're moving backwards.
I second the Lush recommendation, though. Lush will cure all that ails you. I use their Imperialis for my face (I thought I was already irreparably aged, but this disproved that, and I went from veritable raisin to juicy grape practically overnight), and Ultrabalm for the lips (also great on chapped noses, elbows, etc.). All of their stuff smells awesome, though both of those products are pretty mild. For scent-packed intense moisture, though, I can't think of anywhere better than Lush to look.
If you're going for homemade, you could infuse some olive oil with herbs for scent (personally, I'd go for coconut oil over olive, but it depends on your skin type and moisture needs).

I high HIGHLY recommend jojoba oil! If I could I would send some to you! Seriously!
First of all, it's all natural, there isn't really a smell to it, which I find kind of strange but it's better than a weird smell.
Basically the way it works is that jojoba oil is the same consistency as the natural oil that your skin produces, making it the perfect moisturizer because it mimics your skin naturally. This can be especially good for people with acne but it works with anyone.
I use a small amount at night making sure to rub it into my skin pretty well, and when I wake up my skin is glowing! It's amazing! It's also a thinner oil so it doesn't feel greasy.
You can also use it as a hair treatment, makeup remover, and many other uses!
It has helped my acne, my eczema, and my general skin condition more than any other product I've tried.
(Sorry for the weird enthusiasm, but this is my miracle product and I'm really excited about it lol)

clinique's dramatically different gel with eucerin original healing creme on top, and mary kay eye creme. i use eucerin for body too.

I use simple old vitamin E cream 30,000 IU in the winter and 10,000 IU in the summer. It doesn't smell like anything but there are less ingredients and it is very effective.

I use olive oil from time to time but this thread reminded me I need to keep some in the bathroom and in my car for my hands and face.
Ungoogle yourself:
Also, now offering phone sexins!

Curel Anti-Itch Lotion...I know that doesn't sound luxurious but it's a great winter time moisturizer. It has ceramides in it which have made my skin feel baby soft (even on days I skip wearing lotion all together which I couldn't do before this lotion). It has a fatty smell sort of when you put it on first thing out of the shower but in an hour the smell is gone, and your left with healthy, happy, moisturized skin all day.

Edit: Also 1 more for CerVe I switch to their hydrating cleanser and my skin loves it.

Lush skin shangrala for face or Dr. Haushkas rose cream. For body I like boots body butter or keihls crem de corps( very expensive) and I have the driest skin on the planet!
