The IRS has a free virtual small biz owner (self employed = us of course lol) tax workshop. It is composed of nine interactive lessons that educates us on our tax rights and responsibilities as independent contractors/self employed cam workers.
Since it's about that time and I've seen a few tax questions pop up here the past few days, I thought I'd share this resource I just found. You can take the workshop here http://www.irsvideos.gov/virtualworkshop/ or just read and learn more about the workshop by going here http://www.irs.gov/Businesses/Small-...elearningtools (many resources here for those of us who are self employed). This last link also has info pertaining to quarterly tax payments and a ton of useful info.
Here http://apps.irs.gov/app/scripts/exit.jsp?dest=http://www.irsvideos.gov/ are videos/audio on topics of interest to small businesses, individuals and tax professionals as well.
I hope this helps some! I need to take my own advice and do this workshop now.
