    Intermittent Fasting is a concept that kicks your body over that dreaded hump. You work out and hit the wall where your body won't let go, then you fast a day--ONLY for a day,and on the next your resume your normal diet.

    I agree! When I would have a monthly fast to <ahem> cleanse my system, I noticed the day after, I would burn fat really intensely. Something as simple as eating some broiled chicken and veggies would result in my body burning like crazy. I thought it was a quirky thing until I started reading about people who fast as a way of life.

    This doctor goes deep into showing how fasting improves brain function, as well as better body composition!

    I really didn't get any good info from these guys? Bulk-fast..lol I'm not a big fan of fasted cardio either, you're going to burn muscle as fuel not just fat. If you break down your caloric intake over a week & don't take in solids for 2 days of the week, then binge eat for your " window" how does this burn fat? The key to any diet is building muscle to burn more calories; in turn eat more cleaner calories...simple

    Some researchers say that fasting gooses your metabolism so if you do all of your eating over a 5-6 hour period everyday vs over a 14 hour period it's better. The first guy said that if you fast once a week it gooses your metabolism as well. I can't give personal testimony but I've been experimenting with it. I'm concerned with safe,efficient weight loss while the twins are obviously all about gaining muscle.

    My honest approach to nutrition in the sense of prescribing would be, everybody is different & listen to your body. Like a doctor, knowing how somebody lives & what kind of conditions they live under, approach a plan. Nutrition is a simple science, calories in minus out.
