Default I NEED my old club back, But terrified because i quit.

Alright , lets start by saying, Im the SWEETEST dancer in the dallas area, lol alright that might not be true, but ive always been a courteous, polite, fallow the rules kinda girl.
I was having a bad brush of luck, My car blew up on the way to work, when i was at work, a drunk waitress wrecked into my rental, on top of that , i was earning crumbs because of Christmas..
It was empty in the club, 2 days before Christmas, and i was on my last stage, the day before was the day the drunk waitress ran into my car (management was NO help) and i was finishing my last song , on the last stage, the cops deiced to call.. I panicked and answered it because i was going to give them my insurance information..(I carry my phone in my money bag, and have never had it out on stage before...
My manager, usually a friend to everyone, comes at me and yells at me to get off my phone.
Normally i would just do as asked and put it up, But i was already stressed to the max, and he hurt my feelings, so i said, i quit, calmly, and he said then quit, and i got up, got dressed and left.
The next day i went to a club my friend worked at..
I thought it might be uncomfortable because the manager was 25, let them smoke weed in the club, and continuously made passes at me..
The clubs cliental consisted of drug dealers and pimps, and to top it all off, and every horrifying word of this is true..
the last night i was there, new years eve, a girl was seen arguing over money with a man in the club, this was a regular,
and all the management liked him..
i was giving a dance about 10 feet away when this man, jumps up, screams BITCH YOU GOT ME FUCKED UP, and tackles this woman, and REPEATEDLY PUNCHES this woman in the face, full force.. All the girls jump in and start kicking the man and the managers try pulling him off, and after several hits they get up, shes bleeding with busted everything, blood puddles on the floor, and hes escorted outside.. I quit my dance and go to the dressing room, and hear the manager say THEY ARNT CALLING THE COPS.. BECAUSE THE MANAGER DOSNT WANT TO GET CHANGED OVER THE WEED!!!!!

I quit. That second i quit, on the way out the house mom says, "i dont know why your so upset, this happens at every club".
I know drunk men cant be controlled, but the cops should have been called, if it where me getting hit in the face i know i wouldnt be protected...

So anyways, how should i approach my manager, I know theres several clubs out there, i just really miss my girlfriends there. That club fit me...

Fyi i mentioned this story to warn other dallas dancers to avoid it.

I would just explain how stressed out you were that day and that you needed a break.

What kind of club is this where you have to quit instead of just stop going?

Lol i wanted to make a point to him that i was stressed and he hurt my feelings.
I didnt quit the other club, I just stopped going..

And we have to do atleast 3 days a week, your pretty much out if you dont do a required 3 days a week, I havnt really been there at all since i left. almost 2 weeks ago..
Thats really what im worried the problem will be, and i left without paying my house fees, That should probably be mentioned.(at the club i want to go back to.)

I don't think returning to either club would be an issue.

I wore in the Dallas area & I have yet to see a club not let a girl come back all because she quit one shift; just pay the back housefees & go back to work like it's no big deal

This. While management was right to tell you to get off your phone while you were on stage (I get you were stressed, but you didn't have to be so dramatic as to quit... And I still don't understand why your phone was on stage with either the ringer on loud or you watching it for a call, but whatever), I'm not sure I'd want to work in a club where management lets customers get away with beating people, especially women, and where the staff is so blasé about it though.

You have other options, it's not like there's no other clubs around you. You didn't even mention if the club had incredible earning potential or not, and work isn't about hanging out with friends anyway, so you can always see your girlfriends outside of work and work in a better environment.

Go back to ur home club..Explain to management why u were on the phone and say that it wasnt a normal situation..Give full explanation of all the problems u were having..U rnt safe at the second club..Just swallow ur pride and try to go back to ur home club..Shit happens and if ur home club's management is worth a crap then they will take u back. Go where u r safe and protected.

The thing is, He knows it wasnt normal for me.
I always have my phone in my money bag (I dont trust leaving it with the girls, It was on vibrate with the ringer off and i felt it vibrate on my knee when i was dancing on stage.
I SHOULDNT have been so dramatic, I didnt want to quit, i was actually shocked he told me to go lol.
But at that point it was a pride thing.

Im going to call in the morning when i know no girls are working, and ask if i can come in lol.
Get them when they need me!

First of all, I hope the woman who got beat up is alright, that's horrible, what a place..then the hm says, "o this happens at every club"? wtf.
I am sorry about all your run of bad luck, that's fucked up about the waitress.
Yeah, I would just try to go back to your original place, pay your fees, prob. have to apologize, & it should be all good

Wow, run far far away from your friend's club!! So how did it go? Did you call your old club?

Also, if you don't mind telling me which club the girl got punched in the face at...I'm in the Dallas area and need to know where to avoid!
