Sinna, very good article!

I guess because she got too many creepers, there won't be instructional videos. Too bad![]()

She never came back to update. Sinna's guide here though http://adult-income.com/clips4sale-guide-for-newcomers is excellent x

So is there anyone new who is doing really well and would like to share some tips?
Also do you guys have intro and credits? How did you decide what to do for them? I'm thinking about just watching a ton of youtube videos and making notes on things that catch my attention.

The info is still basically the same - upload every single day without fail. If you want to hit the big or even medium leagues, upload 10+ vids a day, spaced out. Advertise and promote everywhere x

Thanks for the response sexysusie!
Thats a damn good summary Susie! Pretty much spot on. You need to find a niche, and film clips that people will buy. You can upload hundreds and only half might sell once or twice... so it's important to find the niche FIRST, otherwise you will waste a lot of time filming heaps of stuff that won't sell.

Easier said than done to reach 6 figures. Find your specific niche (of course). Write your own scripts and create original material really helps too. I'm a studio who has reached a decent amount. A couple of my clips have been in the top 50 in the 3 years I've been filming. I've ranked #1 in a popular category and climbing my way up others as we speak. Here's what I can say from my personal experience:
- Great Content (Unique!)
- Film in HD (Can be a webcam even, just have good lighting)
- Write Great Descriptions that Sell
- Create Attractive Gifs (IWantClips has a generator)
- Post at LEAST once a day. You can post 5-10 times a day, but space them out 1-2 hours in between for maximum exposure.
- Don't be afraid of new things to try on there. You can find your next best category!

Thank you so much for your input!

I was number one store in 3 niche categories for most of 2013, and that was without anywhere near 10 clips a day.... so long time since my experience was relevant haha. But I filmed a bunch of things (mainly vanilla which did NOT sell - nor did toothbrushing!), and then just continued with the things I got asked for the most and enjoyed the most. I found a bunch of niche fetish forums and interacted on there, not spamming, actually chatting, and that brought lots of traffic. My site at the time was on wordpress and I got loads of traffic via keywords on my blog just from posting up a description and picture every time i published a new clip. The thing with very niche categories is that they're not going to make you the big bucks. They usually have extremely loyal, but small followings. As you gain experience and confidence you could have multiple niche stores to catch all markets, but that is a lot of work. Tara Tainton and MissaX (especially Missa, I love her <3) are jacks of all trades, and that should tell you something x
When you say 10 videos a day how many videos a week/month are you suggesting? I make about 40 videos a month and have daily uploads. Typically I am in the top #5 of my main category but this month Was The first month in over 6 months that I have dropped down almost completely off the list =(
Generally I have about 10-20 people that buy all of my videos as I put them out, but rarely do I get big sales. It's pretty abnormal for me to have many sales that are $75 or more. I do make alright money, generally around $1000-$1500 just on c4s but that's not exactly big bucks. It's a little off-putting when you out in so much work to not get a lot out of it.

Wow the I just looked at one of Missax's previews on pornhub. It is beautifully done from the editing to the luring aspect. I need to go rewatch that. Tara Tainton seems to have a way with words and building up the fantasy. Thank you for pointing them out sexysusie!

What are established c4s models opinions of recording what you do throughout the day as a webcam model? This is a quick and easy way to gather up a lot of content and fast. I have been recording and editing my camshows to start up a c4s store, but I notice a lot of models do actually produce videos and it is obvious that they have put time and effort into the video, whereas all of my videos are shot with the same background. I am not the type who will shoot videos at all when I am off for the day, so I figure recording, and editing the shit out of my cam performances to start, racking up that content, getting all videos edited and ready to go, then launching the store is the best idea. I want to shoot as much content as possible before I launch, so I do not have to worry about shooting every day to keep up. I want a good few months worth of updates (1 video a day to start is a reasonable goal for me) so I can simply add the videos and promote them while I go along, rather then be stuck in an endless cycle of shooting and editing every day. That is just my personal style though which stems from my days of having a solo girl site. I learned then to shoot now, post later and save up the content for updates.
In my experience (not sure if I would count as "established" or not, but I do okay on C4S, my main income is camming) camshows don't sell that well on C4S. What I do is set aside 1 day a week for filming and editing, and I try to stay around a week ahead in filming. That way I can film in different places in my house and different outfits. If you look at the top sellers in categories on C4S, they are NOT camshows that have been recorded and edited, they are videos shot specifically for that category. YMMV, but I doubt you will make much by just putting up recorded shows.

Three words - Trial and Error.
You won't know anything until you just try it and learn from it. So just do it.
