Is it a good idea to go back & try to apply/audition at a club you've previously applied at? It's been a year or so,maybe less..I think I went in later at night, & on the weekend so.![]()

I say definitely go back and try, especially if it was late at night and on a weekend. Did they let you audition at all? If so, did they turn you down for a specific reason? If so, then if this reason has been fixed then go for it, if not, it wouldn't hurt to retry![]()
Absolutely! In that amount of time, the club could have new managers... Even still, the chances of the same person auditioning you are pretty slim!![]()

Well, I went to like 3 places, only one let me audition..they said they'd call but of course didn't. The other 2 I filled out applications, & those I went to later at night & on the weekend

Most areas I have danced besides my current location always turned me down if it was a weekend. They told me to come back Sunday-Thursday usually not after 10PM but preferably before 9PM. So that is probably the only issue they didn't hire you. And ugh, I hate when clubs say they will call you. They never do, you just need to be consistent with them.
Generally, your best bet when trying to get hired/audition is to go during day shift shortly after the club has opened or in the early evening before all the night girls get in and when there's a lull in the crowd. That's when management has the most time to deal with auditioning and/or hiring new girls, and when they're more likely to want to get more girls in the club so they can make money. If you go late at night, management is busy dealing with a million other things and they likely have enough girls on schedule that they're not even thinking about needing new ones.
After a year, I doubt anyone in that club will even remember you or your audition, so definitely go back and give it another shot. Good luck!

yes i would say definitely! managers are so weird and turn people down when they're in a bad mood/ have other things on their mind. i went to one club and auditioned and got told no and went back a month later and was auditioned by the SAME EXACT manager before and he said yes and asked me why did he say no before as if he didn't even know his own reason

Bump, this club I'm interested in said any day is fine, just come in well before 10pm, but after 5pm..even though they told me come any day, I'm thinking like tomorrow (Sat.) wouldn't be good? Even if I get there right after they open (5pm?)
Thought about tonight, but it took hours to get my hair done, & I just got in I'd have to rush around as it's a good drive..
ETA: I just saw about checking out more than 1 club, that's an option too
