Hello my darlings! Do you have a question or situation pertaining to camming that you're not exactly sure where to post it at? Are you hesitant to start an entirely new thread for just one simple question or situation you need some feedback on? Or do you have a situation or question that may have been touched on in the past but you cant find a definitive answer to (besides the obvious ones that really cant be answered,such as "how much will I make camming?") ? If you've used the search function and still cant find what you are looking for, or if your question or situation is unique and hasn't been discussed or answered yet,post them up here! This should help cut down on the forum being flooded with new threads constantly,and instead of starting one that potentially could unfortunately get ignored,pushed to the 2nd page or only answered by one or two ladies,asking it here may get your post seen and answered by more members.Sounds like a win/win situation to me! Yay for organization!

*Id like to add that before you ever post a question on ANY thread,PLEASE use the search function first.This site is literally a GOLDMINE of information-almost any and all questions have been asked and answered at SOME point.If you have the time and patience,oftentimes you can find anything you're looking for.But,if you cant find what you need,try searching SW through Google.Using the + and - signs in your search can greatly improve your chances of weeding out irrelevant threads and getting to the nitty gritty of what you're looking for! And then,if you're still striking out,come here and ask away!

I do understand that time is $$ though,and some of us have children,other jobs,obligations etc and may not have several hours a day to read...and read...and read just to find one simple answer to a tiny question.But atleast try to make the effort to look around some each time,and not just rely on this thread to get your questions answered quickly,especially if they have been answered numerous times in past threads.We are soo very LUCKY to have this website to rely on for all of our camming needs,therefore we should respect it and all of its members-a question can only be asked so many times before it starts getting REALLY old!Lets keep this place flowing smoothly and be grateful for all of the fabulousness that it truly is! Hi, I'm trying to start camming and I was wondering if an I3 processor desktop system with 4 gb ram can be OK to stream HD on streamate? (with a logitech 9000 cam, of course). Also, would you recommend an onboard videocard for it or better a dedicted one?

I'm on a kind of a budget and I really don't know how to get a better thing until I make some money...

I was actually asking about this in chat yesterday and the general consensus was the Logitech Pro C920 was superior. Also, I generally talk VERY low at night to avoid waking up my boyfriend and daughter, and I've never had anyone complain about it. I just turn the sensitivity all the way up! It seemed strange to me that the C920 was supposed to be the newer, better one but on eBay and Amazon the C910 was more expensive??? Not that I mind!

You can't splitcam, you can't open any additional programs, the encoder will likely have issues often, but yes. They recommend an i7 though.

Yes, $200/week should be easy to make on Streamate, whether you have the encoder or not. Other models on here have said they've made good money without it. If your computer and/or internet connection can't handle the encoder, then the best thing would be for you to go without it until you can upgrade your equipment. Otherwise, you'll just end up having all sorts of issues with it and getting really frustrated on cam. The nice thing about Streamate is that it has good traffic, and you don't really need to rely on regulars to make money on there.

You'd still have to give all your information anyway. They still need your name, ID, etc. I don't even think they will pay to anything else except your real name. Try emailing liz or vanessa. But yes, you would enter your ein instead of ssn if you wanted to. But I'm not sure that would make much of a difference either. Ask liz.
