I want to get these, but I'm worried the ankle strap isn't supportive enough. I stress the everloving bejesus out of my shoes when I dance on stage so I need shoes that stay on straight and tight. Maybe I need some boots.

Has anyone ever worn shoes with a similar ankle strap? Any shoe reviews from you veterans would be so appreciated!

Pleaser is a pretty good brand... velcro straps... I feel like it'll probably be fine? But, girl, they're $130.00! ...Maybe I'm just cheap, but I go for industrial-strength $40.00 classics, can't go wrong. The most I ever spent on stripper shoes was $70.00 (chrome heels), and i do love that pair, very much. I always sell them to foot-fetishists on Ebay after I'm done, too.

Oooh shoe-selling is a good idea. The pair I wear now is pretty fancy and cost me about $80. I love them and they get compliments from customers, so I figure they kind of pay for themselves in terms of giving me confidence and helping my hustle.

I LOVE those shoes! I don't know about the strap, I tend to do a lot of pole tricks but I don't usually dance fast and I'm relatively easy on my shoes so they last a while. Don't know how long shoes usually last you. They're hella expensive but man they are my taste.

Aren't they hot?! I adore them. I'm new to dancing (just hit the 6 month mark) and I've been wearing one pair for 4 months of it. They're excellent, but the ankle strap is starting to tear so I need a back-up pair.

Is it uncommon to spend lots of money on shoes? There's a girl in my club who wears the same pair of custom blinged-out shoes, which she says cost her $300. I figured shoes were like house fees; pricey, but an essential evil.

I think they're really cute, but I wouldn't buy them. My shoes are all under $100, 'cause they get worn out. I don't trust a rhinestone to stay on anything.

I have yet to see these babies in person- are they real Swarovski crystals on the shoe? Swarovski barely needs any light to still sparkle like mad, where as lesser quality stones actually need light to hit to get some sparkle.

The pair of shoes I have right now have lasted me probably 8 months or so but the ankle strap just tore But I consider the amount of time the shoes lasted to have been worth spending money on. I am used to paying around $45-70 on dance shoes, but if I found a pair I like a lot I would consider buying them, and I would have my cheaper pair to still wear as well so the new expensive ones last longer.

So sexy! I love sparkle ...and I'm a metal chick. Hehe. I just spent the same amount On some rhinestone shoes in my style to make myself feel sexy going back to work after a long vacation. http://www.discountstripper.com/bp64...edge-pump.aspx they glitter like mad. XDThe longest a pair of shoes has lasted me was about a year... They were demonia double stacked platform boots. (Also super comfy because there's no arch)... not everybodys style fits heart stompin boots though. It's not uncommon for shoes to die quickly... If you use discount stripper be sure to google for thier coupon codes!!! You can almost always get a good percentage off! Right now I think there's one for 15% discounted from your order. For the ankle strap- I bet if you have problems with them coming undone you could remove the Velcro and sew on snap buttons instead.Yinyang- that is the most genius thing I've heard. Must start doing that with my trashed shoes. How much can you normally get for them? While googling more on this I saw you can't have your bare toes show in the pictures?? Shoot foot fetishists are harmless, I wouldn't mind putting up a pic of my feet in the shoes. Do you know if that's true? Do you have to avoid descriptions aimed at fetishists too?

I have these shoes!!!! Only in the 8inch without the ankle strap. And they're not supportive enough. I actually strap them on my feet using a clear bra strap - under the shoe, criss crossed at the front of the ankle and clipped together at the back. Maybe you could consider doing something like that? You really can't see the strap at all in the club.

Keep in mind the diamontes do come off easily with wear. Bump them, knock them sliding on stage etc and they will come off. I had to buy a little packet from a craft store and replace lots.

I found these as well. I was going to buy them but they don't ship to Australia they're clear straps with a strap around the bottom with a hole in it that slips over the heel spike and does up like a normal ankle strap. http://heelstraps.com/instructions.htm

i bought these exact shoes and i love them. however when you squat down (like bent at the knees but sitting upright, as if talking to customer at stage) it puts a LOT of tension on that back strap. mine actually snapped like the 3rd shift wearing them. so i just cut it off and wore the ankle cuff thingies. i find its supportive enough because i always wear the "mule" style anyways. i LOVE them and get so many complimens on them. i work in a decent sized club and guys will come from across the room to talk to me (and usually ask for dances). they definitely get you noticed. if you work in a busy club and can afford these they are 200% worth it.

yes some of the rhinestones fall off but they are so blindingly glittery and beautiful that no one can see it.

i've had them for about 3 months now.
