    Default VIP Wristbands

My club requires a wristband to go up to VIP, $20 topless & $30 nude, after which the customer pays by the song, $20 or $30 respectively. Of course the entire wristband price goes to the club, but it's good for the entire nite & the customer can come & go from the lapdance area as he likes. Dancers keep all of the $$ they get for the actual dances. I am having more & more customers lately that balk when they realise that for one nude lapdance they are being told to shell out $60.

I actually sneaked a customer upstairs once by accident w/o a VIP wristband; he had only the 'underage' one. When we were discussing private dances, I simply asked him 'Do you have the wristband' & he said yes so off we went. Didn't notice my mistake until we were already up there & he'd paid me for the dance, but when I mentioned my goof played it off like hey, it wasn't intentional but I essentially just got you up here for half-price! He was much more inclined to get more dances after that.

I've considered trying this again, or otherwise trying to talk them into getting a block of time w/ me up there since we don't have a CR-type set up. Just areas for topless & nude private dances. Many of them have said specifically their problem is w/ the cost of the wristband, but there's really not much of a way around it since we have to go to a mngr or the bartender to get it. The other options are $20 table dances, of which the dancer keeps everything, & the club also charges smtg like $500 to buy a girl off the floor for the nite & I'm not sure how much they take from it.

Selling dances by a block of time would be a great idea - certainly better than being bought out for the entire night for only $500 (less, even, since the club wants its cut), unless there's only 1-2 hours left in the night. Are songs in your club cut to a certain length of time? That'll make it easier to determine how much to charge. Like, at my club songs are about 4 minutes and we only have $20 dances, so I do $300 an hour (or $150 for half hour intervals or even $100 for 20 minutes). You could figure it out that way and then up the cost by the $20-30 so you're not losing out on it.

Song length averages 3.5 min but if a girl on main stage is getting lots of attention then the DJ cycles back the song & adds sm times as much as another full minute. When I suggest buying a block of time w/ me I charge $100/15min, a habit from my last club where that was the amt I'd make doing dances for that length of time.

The $500 for the nite I am honestly not too sure abt, since it only came up a few nites ago w/ a customer at the end of the nite; mngr said normally they charge $500 & take out $200 from that but since it was dead & the end of the nite he could probably just charge the guy $200, & I should just charge what I wanted on top of that. Guy was too drunk to make up his mind & ended up not getting anything, so nothing came of that.

This is also the first BYOB place I've worked in, w/ the majority of customers seeming to favour Keystone & the like.
