Default Should I just start over?

I was away from camming for the last 4 months of 2012. I had to move out of my flat and spent most of that time living in a hostel so I was unable to cam. At the end of the year I moved back in with my parents and now I can squeeze in a few hours of cam time without audio after they go to bed. I was really nervous about how business would be after all that time off but my first week back seemed to put my worries to rest. I was making more money than ever before, I was really excited and hopeful and I felt like I'd finally figured out how to do this job properly. Of course, it was the holiday period so it was great for everyone but even so I thought I'd taken some big steps forward.

Then the holiday period ended and overnight my business died out. Despite having kickass placement (row 3/4) I only ever have 1 or 2 guys in my room and my money has totally died. I'm struggling to make $50 a day and today I only made $2.50 in 2 hours. I know it's slow all over but this just feels ridiculous and I'm wondering if my 4 month hiatus is the cause. And if that's the case, whether it would be worth shutting down this account and just creating a new one.

Edit: I have 2370 favourites, a handful of regulars (who obviously aren't spending enough right now), a 5 star rating and 11 comments. If that info helps.

Anyone got any advice on yay or nay?

Hey Cammi, welcome back to the cam world. I dunno if you should create a new SM account. Do you have a lot of good comments? Lots of guys who've added you to their favorites? That would affect my decision as to whether to start fresh or not.

I will say, I experienced something very similar when I took a nearly 2 month break from SM just before the summer, except my placement took a nose dive. I went from doing well to doing worse than poorly and ended up giving up on SM altogether and starting on a new site. Sometimes you just don't have time to sit around and wait for things to pick up, ya know? Good luck in whatever you decide to do!

Do Not Start over, that is killing yourself by loosing the clients. Many many girls do not cam consistently due to many different reasons life throws us. All that will happen is ... starting over with 4 or 4.5 stars, having to work to implement gold shows again that is if you do them
It is not worth the headache. Plus all they will do is re open your old account unless you want to change your name.

    Good Luck
