Default Getting residency in another state?

Hey guys, so I have been trying to figure this out and am kind of stuck. My current official state of residence is a high tax state that I no longer live in, so I want my residency to be my new, lower income tax state. However, when I look up the requirements they all want a utility bill (said cell phone bills don't count). The problem is, I don't have any utility bills in my name because someone else pays those. They also do not want to transfer any bills because the house that I am living in is under their LLC and they have their own reasons for wanting to keep some privacy and not have any particular person tied to the house, which I understand. So, how can I do this? I don't want to publicly post my state but if that matters I can pm it to you. Thank you.

Go get a PO box that looks like a real address, and open a box there.
Then go get your driver's license changed to your new address.
However, keep in mind, you cannot vote because they check to make sure you live at the address.
The DMV technically wants your address to be on your license, so just lie and say you live there.
    Ungoogle yourself:

    Also, now offering phone sexins!

^^^ better yet use a 'mail drop' with a real street address i.e. mailboxes inc. Also, transfer your driver's license and your voter registration to your new state., using the 'mail drop' street address.

A word of caution however. Most of the high tax rate states have a bunch of state tax agency workers whose sole job is to attempt to 'disprove' that former state residents / taxpayers have legally left the state thus legally are no longer required to pay their high state income taxes. Speaking from personal experience, New York is worse than the IRS in this regard.

Thanks for the responses. I actually already have a PO Box here and am going to get a UPS "street address" for this purpose but the problem is that according to my sources:

"PROOF OF RESIDENCY: To meet residency requirements, you must present two of the following: current utility bills (bills for cellular or pager service are not acceptable), tax records, lease agreements, mortgage documents, W-2 form, or current weapons permit."

    None of which I have.

Sigh... looking at everything and especially what Melonie said regarding investigations (even though I now live in the lower tax state) I may just file as a resident of my previous state for this next year until I have everything situated
