Default Newbie here--- thinking about stripping, need wardrobe ideas!

    Hey all,

I am thinking about stripping and auditioning on Friday, if they have time at a local club. Just wondering, what types of outfits should I invest in? Lingerie like these:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...o_cart_title_1
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...o_cart_title_2
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...o_cart_title_3

    or are dancewear/costumes more appropriate?
What should I wear? Of course, I should probably call the clubs and inquire about this... lol

Also, do people work at more than one club? Is that okay, or do people typically not do it?

i know girls who do work in different clubs, yes. they usually don't advertise it though to either club, they just keep it hush hush. i find that its draining enough working in one, and i acquire regulars much better if i stick to one as well. that's my preference though.
some clubs are very strict on dress code, so i'd call and ask first, good luck

I agree with Simone, call and check on the dress code or make a trip in yourself and see what the girls are wearing. Some clubs require you to wear a gown, other clubs have a certain width your thong must be..it all just depends. Being a newbie, one thing you want to keep in consideration is wearing something easy to get out of! Trying to get out of a corset and still look sexy can be a task if you haven't had experience doing it.

I know plenty of girls who work at more than one club, but like Simone said, it is best to keep it on the hush. I recommend sticking to one club for at least the first few months while you get the hang of things and then branch your way out from there if that is something you are wanting to do.

This is just my advice... Instead of calling to ask you should visit the club first. I went into my first job stripping without ever being in a strip club.... Called, showed up, and started that night. It was a horrible environment but I didn't know anything better existed so I worked for several months. The second time around I went and visited a couple clubs a few times before asking for a job. I talked to the girls (not the staff) and asked all my questions (and tipped them for thier time) this way I got to see what business was like... What the girls were like... How things were run... Ect. If I hadn't of done this and just picked the one that sounded best I wouldn't of ended up where I did. And this club is amazing. The staff is friendly and professional, the security is good, and the girls are smart, talented, amazing women. Complete opposite of my first experience because I went into it the right way. Be picky. Find a place your comfortable. All of that aside. Some clubs do have rules about what you wear. At the same time you want to work within your limitations to be something different from the crowd. You'd probably also get some ideas on what to wear by visiting. See what the girls wear and figure out how you can incorporate your own style. There also might be rules like no mesh or cover your bum. Most importantly get something that's easy to take off and put back on and something that makes YOU feel sexy. Confidence wins in this business. Good luck sweetie!

    THanks everyone for your advice.

Turns out that I am completely broke right now. :

Would it be weird if I auditioned in a bikini?

I just ate so I AM a little bloated but... am I too fat to do this?

For future reference: The first and third options look like major pains to take on and off, to me. Many clubs have rules about what you have to take off while on stage. Example: you have to be topless by the end of the second song. I have an outfit like the second one, but in black. Not flattering if you're even remotely bloated (meaning don't drink much of anything while in this), but it's okay otherwise.

Depending on the club, a bikini may or may not be acceptable. You really do need to at least call and inquire about the rules, as some won't allow that. Then again, I did that with my first club, and despite being in Houston (full bottoms and pasties--it's the law), they said to wear "whatever you're comfortable in, sweetie." So... make sure to get a straight answer, and maybe search your city on here.

If you've no other options, you could try getting a department store credit card and finding some lingerie on sale. Make sure to pay it off immediately though!

You look great and the outfit would be fine for most of the clubs I've worked at. Just make sure you call and ask about the dress code before hand. Most of the bars near me require 2 stage shows for each set, and one outfit for each song. The first is usually a dress or 2 piece short/skirt set or romper, and a dress or robe for the second.

Most import thing is to stand out a bit from the others, and make sure you're wearing something you feel sexy and comfortable in, and you know how to get out of gracefully; )

To post your image so that it works, put this in without the XXs:

I think you look perfectly fine.

As long as it's not a gown club, a bikini should be perfect. About 75 percent of the girls I work with, including myself, wear bikinis. I think the one in the picture is adorable. Good luck (:

That cherry outfit is super duper cute and you're definitely not too bloated for it. Give the club a call about the dress code, find out when they do hiring, and just go for it. Think of all the money you could be earning now instead of sitting around and asking us if you should do this or not!
